Tuesday must be everybody's favourite ice-cream day because it's half price for waffles. Though it's not exactly the ice-cream that is half price, the fact that ice cream goes perfectly well with waffle means people will definitely come for the cheap waffle and yummy ice cream! With so many delicious flavours to choose from and one can choose to have either maple syrup or chocolate sauce to go with it, it's no wonder that this place is always flocking with people on Tuesdays!

Yummy dim sum at Kopitiam price Smile Jul 15, 2011

It's great to have dim sum stalls at Kopitiam because it is always very pricey to have this Chinese cuisine at restaurants. And when I am not really that hungry, I would head to straight to the dim sum stall to get something light. There are also some awesome deals, like the one I had recently was for a plate of prawn chi cheong fun and a cup of tea for only $3 (a plate costs $2.70)

Categories : Steaks and Grills

I like to dine at Hot Tomato because without having to pay a lot, I can have yummy western food that fill my stomach. My bf and I ordered seafood combo and mixed grilled combo respectively and we ended up being so full. The mixed grilled combo was the killer, with chicken meat, pork chop and sausage plus the usual aglio olio. With just additional $2.90,
we could get soup, garlic bread and drink.

I'm not sure why this drink is not listed as one of the signature drinks in the menu but it sure caught my attention when I was selecting my drink. And i was not disappointed at all. The combination of red bean with the milk base made this a smooth beverage with a hint of sweetness from the red bean. This is definitely great to go along with the spicy food served smile

A filling breakfast at Toast Box Smile Jul 04, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

I prefer the bee hoon breakfast set over the usual toast set as the former is definitely more filling than the latter and is thus value for money. I got to choose 3 sides beside my bee hoon and the auntie was rather generous in giving the portions for the sides. With a cup of coffee to go along, the meal was sufficient to tide me over an early lunch.
