Usually people would buy popcorns as snacks when watching movies. However, half a dozen of doughnuts would be the best companion for me, as I realized it recently. I had decided to pop by the outlet at Tampines 1 before catching the movie at Tampines Mall. SInce half a dozen was going for $ 7.50, I had decided to choose the following flavours which appealed to me most: Advocado Dicaprio, Don Mochino, Hazel Dazzle, Why Nut, Berry Spears and Oreology. Indeed, I felt so sinful with the amount of sugar I had just consumed but it just made me want more!

The best burgers in town Smile Jun 22, 2011

I'm definitely not sick of burgers at Mos Burger - I could even have them for both lunch and dinner! This time round, I stuck to my old time favorite - chicken. The teriyaki chicken rice burger seemed appealing so I decided to order that with my favourite iced milk tea & fries. Beside the fact that the marinating sauce tasted rather salty, everything tasted exactly like the best burgers in town!

What caught my attention was this standee that promoted this new wagyu beef burger and it made me join the queue at Mos Burger immediately. The beef patty was juicy and tender and paying the additional 20cents for the cheese was definitely worth it - the burger seemed to melt in the mouth! I do hope that Mos Burger will make this one of the permanent residents here as I have definitely fallen in love with this burger smile

This was one inexpensive yet delicious lunch at Ikea Tampines. And it was a Tuesday! Thus meatballs were only selling at half price smile As I wasn't sure whether the meatballs could fill up my growling stomach, I decided to go for another plate of chicken leg. At the end of the meal, I realised that I could give the chicken a miss but I didn't exactly regret it as the meat was rather tender and I did like the sides.

Cooking at Pepper Lunch Smile Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Food Court | Steaks and Grills

I like to dine at Pepper Lunch because I simply love to play with my food (and eat them in the end!) However, one has to be quick or else the food will end up more than cooked - burnt in the end. I would add the honey brown sauce together with the garlic soya sauce, mixing the butter with the hamburger patty and chicken meat. Not forgetting the vegetable which burn easily. With a bowl of miso soup, this makes a great and simple meal smile
