Cjomp Chomp's carrot cake OK Mar 31, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Hawker Centre

Carrot cake is a common dish found at nearly every food/hawker center. One get to choose white or black (with sauce). I'm fine with both but had a craving for the latter one night and decided to pop by Chomp Chomp for supper. The cook must be very generous with the black sauce and it spoilt the dish. Luckily the chili sauce saved the day.

The really $3 fried hokkien mee Cry Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Hawker Centre

I love those hawkers who are generous with their servings, i.e I may be buying a $3 share but the amount of food served is just nice. However, the hokkien mee served at this outlet seems to worth only $2.There was only one prawn, a few pieces of sotong together with a plate of nearly tasteless mee, thank goodness for the chili. This is definitely the $3 hokkien mee.

Chocolatey soya milk :) Smile Mar 31, 2011

Mr Bean has the new product, Chocolate Ice Blend which is a must try for all chocolate lovers. It's a blend of soya milk, chocolate powder and ice, sort of like ice blend. Quite a refreshing choice from the usual normal soya milk. It will be great if they can include chocolate chunks smile

My first Gong Cha! Smile Mar 22, 2011

I'm not sure whether I should blame or thank my colleague. It was her who introduced to my first Gong Cha and ever since, I am hooked onto it. My first order was matcha with azuki beans and I fell in love with it immediately. One get to choose the sugar level for the drink and the toppings as well. There is also a wide variety for one to choose from and one would definitely be spoilt for choices! tongue

This is one hot mee sua stall at Bedok Blk 511. It is very popular and one has to wait for about 20-30 mins on busy nights. Even though the price has increased to $4 from $3, this has not affected its popularity with its customers at all.

I love to choose pork meat with liver. The soup can be rather spicy at times and it makes me feel heaty at times. However, I simply love to eat it with my favourite stingray anytime! smile
