The best yoghurt of them all Smile Mar 17, 2011

Recently, there are a lot of yoghurt themed shops popping around the island but I feel that Glacious stands out with their 'clean' concept besides the usual DIY yogurt corner. I like how this shop has a winter kind of feel with its white and blue theme. And the varieties of toppings ranging from cornflakes to mini marshmallows truly entice me! lol

There's something special about the fish soup from Lee Kwang Kee that makes me love its fish soup so much. Not sure whether it is the hei bi or my favourite seaweed, nevertheless, this is the only stall where I order my fish soup from.

It doesn't have a strong fishy smell and the fish meat is fresh. Adding a bowl of rice make it a complete healthy meal. And not forgetting about the salty yet addictive 'tao juon' sauce to dip the fish in. I'm hooked onto Lee Kwang Kee's fish soup! mad

I simply love Edo Sushi because of its 9pm half-price sale! There would be people already waiting around the store at about 8.45pm daily, looking at the available sushis and waiting to pounce any moment. I have to admit I'm one of them. mad

The sushi still taste fresh even till then. I'll grab all those with sashimi and I simply love those value packs which contain a variety of sushis for me to choose from. I can always manage to buy more than $6 (that's the minimum amount one have to spend to get the half price deal) and take home one bagful of sushi for less than $10. Now that's what I call value for money!lol

The black wanton noodles OK Mar 16, 2011

Categories : Malaysian | Hawker Centre | Noodles

Feeling hungry in the middle of the night, my bf and I decided to eat something light so we ordered Pontian wanton noodles. Beside not wanting chili, I should have asked the uncle not to put too much black sauce as well. In the end, I ended up with a bowl of black wanton noodles which tasted very salty. And the msg-loaded soup didn't help.

Well, I did finish the noodles but not the soup. And looking at the amount of black sauce left at the bottom of the bowl, I must inform the uncle about the amount of black sauce in the future.

Feeling hungry but yet not wanting to eat too full, I decided to order minced pork noodle from Chai Chee Noodle Village. I specifically informed the uncle to add little chili as it was already past midnight and I did not wish to eat too spicy. Guess his estimation wasn't that fantastic and I ended up with one that tasted like lots of chili. I was rather upset but didn't request for a change. The msg-loaded soup didn't help to reduce the spiciness of the noodle so I had to order coffee.
