Timbre  Smile Dec 28, 2010
Categories : Bars/Lounges | Pasta | Burgers and Sandwiches

The best chicken wings are the chicken wings sold in Timbre. They are well marinated and taste really good.

Beer makes a great combination with chicken wings. The ambience is great for drinking beer and snacking. Totally a great place for chilling and hanging out with friends.

Timbre Buffalo Wings - Battered chicken wings, deep-fried & topped with Timbre's devil sauce costs $10.70

Thursdays are the best with the live band around. The vocal of the band is great and adds to liven the atmosphere.

Thumbs up for the great chicken wings and great drinks.

Roti Prata - Food Junction  Smile Dec 27, 2010

Categories : Indian | Food Court

A cheap and tasty snack would very much be our favourite Indian snack – Roti Prata.

The Roti Prata sold at Food Junction is good actually though it might sound to be and sceptical to some. In fact, I prefer the Roti Prata here as compared to others sold in the well known Roti Prata shops.

The Roti Prata here is not oily and at all and one will not feel like they had just swallowed a puddle of oil.

For just $1.20 you get a plain Roti Prata which makes a great snack and it fills your stomach.

The stall is very accessible and easy to find within food junction.

Riverside Indonesian BBQ  Smile Dec 27, 2010

Categories : Indonesian | Food Court | BBQ

The riverside Indonesian BBQ stall is my favorite and the best grilled ayam of all time. At any time of the day, this stall has the longest queue of customers at the entire food court.

At $4.80, it comes with a bbq grilled chicken, omelette, rice, a bowl of soup and black sauce or curry ladled over the rice.

The bbq chicken is fantastic and it never fails me whenever I’m there. I like the soft and tender chicken meat as it is easy to chew.

Conveniently located at the food court and with the long queue, you will not miss the stall for sure.

Wang Cafe  Smile Dec 27, 2010

Tea and coffee always perk me up whenever I’m feeling tired. After lunch, I normally head to a coffee outlet to have a cup of tea or coffee before going back to office.

I ordered the Teh c which costs $1.40 per cup. As usual, all these cups of coffee are small in portion and you can finish them in a few sips.

The tea has a strong tea aroma and it feels very thick. I requested for less sugar so that it will taste so sweet.

A nice and comfortable place to chill out before heading back to work.

Pontian Wanton Noodle  Smile Dec 27, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Malaysian | Hawker Centre | Noodles

Wanton mee has always been my favourite, especially the one at Pontian. I ordered takeaway, small size normal with two soup wanton and two fried wanton. The portion is just right for me.

It costs $3 for the small bowl and an additional $0.20 for the container. It is a cheap and satisfying meal.

The noodles still taste as good and the standard maintained. Though the rave on Pontian wanton noodles had died down as compared to in the past when everyone crowded round the stalls.

I will come back to Pontian Wanton Noodles for more of its wanton mee.
