McDonald's soft-serve ice-cream saves the day. Their ice-creams never fail to cheer me up, priced reasonably too.

I had the classic oreo Mcflurry. It is still my favorite of all time compared to other limited ed mcflurry that McDonald's has as and when. I also like chocolate hot fudge sundae. Counter staff was friendly.

Grinny Gecko now sells frozen yoghurt too. I was elated at first sight but delayed my first purchase. They serve in two different sizes, they call them standard and upsized, both priced at $2.50 and $3 respectively. They had honey dew and natural, but honestly I could not taste the difference between the two flavors. Froyo also came with one complimentary topping, I chose fruit loops.

I had the beef bowl with vegetables. Nothing beats a good fix for Japanese food. It's quick, tasty and healthy.

The service staff was friendly and prompt. I used the voucher I bought on sgdeal.sg, $2.90 instead of $5.80

Ala carte by itself, no soup or drink but still it was really worth it.

Desserts after dinner always make me happy. I had an ice jelly kachang with a generous serving of lychees. I love juicy lychees even though they come straight out of a can. The shaved ice was smooth and fine. I also requested for less syrup and the auntie was obliged with a smile.

Mid day coffee breaks are great, especially with a lap top or story book, chilling out, alone or with good company. I like the idea of that.

I ordered a mug of latte. The service staff served promptly and I helped myself to the cocoa powder at the self-help section. Starbucks coffee is good.
