double scoop. Smile May 22, 2011

I like how Udders categorize their pricings into 3 different levels, classic, premium and connoisseur.

Being a die-hard fan of chocolate ice-cream, I only gave considerations to the assorted chocolate flavors, be it the alcoholic ones to milk chocolate and to dark chocolate. I settled for the Awesomely Chocolate in the end: A blend of two dark chocolates plus dark chocolate shavings.

Since I was sharing it with my boyfriend, we decided to have it served in a double scoop and he chose the Wineberries: Port and Cranberries. This way, we could enjoy our desired flavor and try a little of each other's whenever we liked.
awesome!

TWG Tea Salon & Boutique is a kiosk located on the food hall level of Ngee Ann City, Takashimaya Department Store. They do sell tea leaves just like all the other TWG outlets. They also have assorted macaroons. I got a pair of macaroons for dessert after dinner that evening, there were so many flavors to choose from and I was in a dilemma, they all looked so pretty and luxuriously indulging.

I decided on the Chocolate Earl Grey & Chocolate (brown) and Moroccan Mint (white). The chocolate earl grey tasted like a classic chocolate macaroon with a hint of earl grey. The moroccan mint was really unique, it was sweet, lusciously extraordinary and the minty taste lingered on my tongue.

$2 for a single piece may seem costly but for its quality, they are worth it (:

We all love Bubble Tea don't we? It quenches our thirst and fits into the role of 'there is always room for dessert after meals".

I ordered a large cup of honeydew green tea. It cost $1.50 for the large cup and $1.30 for the small one, so I thought for just a $0.20 difference, why not.

The tea was great, I could taste the authentic tea leaves fragrant and not artificial sweetening. Just like some brands which always leave my throat feeling horrible after each cup of bubble tea due to the low quality of powder flavorings. The bubble tea pearls at this place are soft and chewy too, mmm.

I suppose this is a new brand in the market but it's good. Recommended.

I was really pleased to see Seventh Heaven in the CBD area! I really love their alcoholic ice-cream flavors and never fail to choose those options as I believe the ordinary ones can be reserved to have them at other common scoop shops.

This time, without sampling, I had a double scoop with two different flavors: Dark Cherry Merlot and Rum & Raisins. Just the same, it also came with the butter pastry crackers.. I'm not sure what it is exactly but I do know they compliment the ice-cream well and have the 'bursts in your mouth' power. The ice-cream were excellent too, heavenly, smooth and luxurious. The alcohol content doesn't overpower the actual flavor too. Great!
a must-try for everyone. heavenly.

I remember years ago, this spot used to be Gelato and was then taken over by Venezia and then currently it's Seventh Heaven. I see the ice-cream chain.

Anyway, I wanted dessert after dinner at Taka on a weeknight and decided to give this shop a try since I recall that my classmate has talked about their alcohol ice-creams before, she also said the chocolate + whisky flavor is good.. I took a sample of that but not much to my liking however.

We came to a decision to have a double scoop: lychee martini and black forest. Just a side note, alcoholic ice-cream and normal ice-cream flavors are of the same price. It cost $5.70 for a double scoop in the cup but honestly, it's really damn worth it. Reason being, this is one of the BEST ice-cream I've tasted in my life. The texture is smooth and slides down your throat, the alcohol content does not overpower the entire ice-cream flavor, the ice-cream stay solid for a longer period of time. To sum it up, the flavors are deep, rich and intense too. I like the black forest one more as I love chocolate and the black forest also contained dark chocolate chips and dried cherries in it.
AWESOME.

AWESOME.
