I had a salad from Brotzeit as I wasn't having much of an appetite. My favorite part of the dish was the mozzarella cheese. It was fresh, white and mild but faintly sour in taste, it was good. The salad were deep green in color and the amount of dressing tossed was appropriate. My favorite type of greens is rocket salad. Service was prompt. I remember the salads come in two serving sizes, regular and a larger one, suitable for 1 pax and 2 pax respectively.

It’s a great place for supper especially after a night out. Shared 2 full kampong chicken, 1 serving of ma po tofu and 1 fried sambal kang kong.

The chicken rice was fragrant and tasty. I love how the kampong chicken meat was lean, juicy and cold.. but not in the 'raw' way. The tofu and sambal kang kong were fine, they were not the highlight anyway.

My mom bought a number of variety of kueh for tea time at home.

Bengawan Solo is nostalgic as it brings back childhood memories, I've know this brand since I was a kid.

I like their pandan cake, soft and fluffy with great flavor. Apart from so, the other kuehs are yummy too.

I had my lunch at Manhattan Fish Market with a friend after school. I ordered the seafood combo for one as I was craving a big appetite!

I enjoyed the butter herb rice the most. Apart from that, the prawns were giant, fresh and juicy but I found the strange sauce, which I reckon is mayonnaise really weird. It was oddly sweet. The grilled fish and French fries were good.

Senso is a great place to bring someone special to as it will leave a great impression on the person. The ambience and service is really great. I ordered the Risotto which costs around $25, it tasted great and leaves my taste buds craving for more. The goose liver was fresh, but a pity the portion was small. Overall, great dining experience.
