Latte. Smile Jul 29, 2011

Mid day coffee breaks are great, especially with a lap top or story book, chilling out, alone or with good company. I like the idea of that.

I ordered a mug of latte. The service staff served promptly and I helped myself to the cocoa powder at the self-help section. Starbucks coffee is good.

fish soup. Cry Jul 29, 2011

I ordered a seafood fish soup with rice as I wanted something soupy for my dinner after a long day.

The soup was served in a metal hot pot steam boat style. It looked interesting and was served boiling hot. I waited for it to cool down a little, only to be disappointed with its taste.

The soup smelled really fishy and bad. The fish slices weren't fresh either. It was funny in a negative way on the overall.

Chocolate Cupcake. Smile Jul 29, 2011

I finally got the opportunity to try the chocolate cupcake from Awfully Chocolate! Next will be the white chocolate cupcakes. The chocolate cupcakes are like the single serving portion of the large round cakes, since Awfully Chocolate doesn't sell their specialty chocolate round cakes in slices anyway. The cupcake tasted really rich and heavenly!
cupcake!

chocolate muffin. Smile Jul 28, 2011

My new found love for BreadTalk's muffins, the chocolate ones of course. They also have them in green tea and blueberry flavors. I know that they have been around for a long time and bulk batches are usually baked and brought out to the shelves at once, but I had never thought of trying them.

The chocolate muffins aren't overly sweet, the opposite of what I thought. They are filled with heavy chocolate flavor, chocolate chips and softness. I enjoyed each piece so much.

I think this is possibly the biggest outlet in Singapore. With 2 stories and never-ending crowd on weekends, I haven't been here on a weekday. I ordered a double scoop and had it all to myself. I ordered a scoop of mao shan wang and earl grey.

Excellent is an understatement to describe the mao shan wang. The durian aroma is exceptionally good, the quality is fresh and the ice-cream is smooth, just like all other Udders’ flavors, non-icy, melts in your mouth with oomph with every spoonful.
