pandan cake. Smile Jul 28, 2011

This stall is tucked away on the second floor, just right outside the food court.

Being a sucker for sweet tooth, I needed dessert after dinner. The sight of pandan cakes hit me and I thought I had to get one.

At only 80 cents, I got to enjoy a full slice of really fresh, fluffy and rich pandan cake.

soy milk. Smile Jul 28, 2011

I try to make myself get a cup of soy milk on the go, when I'm thirsty sometimes. It's good for its richness in protein, thirst-quenching and can be served as a dessert for me. This time I ordered the cold soy milk. It was yummy. The aunties were very friendly too.

I love desserts but not so much of Chinese desserts actually, I'm still okay with them though.

Since my cousin was in Singapore, I decided to bring him to try some. I ordered the steamed milk to share with him, I have heard good reviews about steamed milk in general.

It was my first time trying it. Well, not a bad experience, basically it is like bean curd but in a much milkier version, in a complete piece and has a heavy egg white smell. I had the cold steamed milk.

Swensens. Smile Jul 28, 2011

I love Swensens for both their food and desserts. I've been dining at Swensens since I was a kid. I used to love their kids' meals too.

This time, I only opted for the frozen yoghurt selection, since I already had dinner elsewhere.

I ordered the Oreo and Hazelnut blend selection. It was really good, smooth, full of flavors and toppings and creamy.

One word: Horrid. Cry Jul 28, 2011

I now have a bad experience of Go India although I don't know if that is a fair judgment because my first time trying Go India's food was from an Express outlet.

I ordered the chicken biryani, which was served in a plastic take away box except without the lid because I had it dined in. Firstly, it took them 20 minutes to get my food ready and next, what shocked me was that my chicken biryani appeared to not have any real, full piece chicken, in fact I didn't see no chicken, only to have the staff said that the chicken were inside the rice.

Yes, and so there were bits of chicken hidden within the rice grains but that's about it, probably around 5 tiny bite sized pieces. The gravy was watery too and the side vegetables were overly raw.

Bad, horrible.
