Astons Specialities, but not so much of a speciality. I've tried way better Astons at the coffee shops' outlets.
I reckon the only reason why this outlet always has a never-ending queue, especially on weekends is because of its location being in town and the cheap prices for above average western food.
My boyfriend and I dined in here on a weekend, thankfully we were here early and only had to wait 20 minutes for our turn, I know it can actually take up more than an hour just for your turn to dine in, it's crazy.
I had a lemon lime chicken chop while my boyfriend had the NY strip loin steak. They were okay but I have tried better ones. The chicken was served at room temperature and my sides order arrived wrongly, I had asked for a garden veggie and french fries but was served the salad for the former instead. The staff service is relatively poor and slow as well, they gave me a grump look when I informed them about it and wanted a swap.
The NY strip loin steak doneness came as medium well instead of medium. I assume it’s the hectic non-stop crowd that caused the kitchen staff to be confused and always rushing, I do understand so I'm not complaining, just reviewing that
