Sugar overload yoghurt. Cry Nov 10, 2010

Categories : American | Café | Ice Cream and Gelato

There is a competitor in Vivocity, another frozen yoghurt place selling the same kind of icy range of frozen yoghurt.. I do realised some frozen yoghurts are towards the milky range instead. It can be hard to decide which brand you'd want to choose when you're in Vivo so I took a gamble and stepped in OiO. Except that now I'll be sure.

It was icy enough to my liking, but the level of sweetness? It was a horror. It felt like too much sugar was poured into the yoghurt mixture by accident. I've always thought frozen yoghurt was supposed to be a good substitute for ice-cream? Or categorized into the health-consious list? Wasn't in my favour, threw the cup of yoghurt away. Would think thrice about trying it again.. maybe at another outlet.

Breadtalk  OK Aug 31, 2011
Categories : Bakery

BreadTalk was having their anniversary and had a special promotion for their cakes! Buy 2 and get 1 free. Being an avid lover for cakes, of course it got me to purchase an order. I chose a strawberry short cake, a chocolate and a pineapple citrus one. My favorite was the pineapple citrus cake apparently, despite my interest for chocolate, because basically it was the only cake that had soft moisture. The other two weren't very fresh, felt like they were a day old or two.

Dessert Story  OK Aug 31, 2011

I got takeaway steamed milk for my sis and I. Honestly; I'm not quite a fan of that. I feel that it taste basically like bean curd except with egg. I could taste the strong stench of egg white; I call it stench because I don't think it goes with the overall. The cold steamed milk is worse. My sister loves it though.. Guess it is personal preference.

Chicken wings OK Jul 31, 2011

We headed to Red Dot Brewery at Boat Quay for drinks in the evening and ordered a basket of chicken wings to go along with the drinks. Each serving of basket costs around $10 which comes with their signature chilli sauce. The chicken wings tasted alright as it was a little oily. Nice ambience and place to chill out with friends.

mixed rice. OK Jul 29, 2011

Categories : Food Court

I had simple Chinese mixed rice for my lunch. Quick and budget. I basically had rice and 2 other dishes, 1 meat and 1 vegetable. I chose stir-fried bitter gourd and fried chicken cutlet. They were decent but not too fantastic tasting, not surprised. Service staff was okay, she greeted but wasn't too friendly.
