Astons Changi Airport  Smile Jul 31, 2011

Astons never fails to make my day, though the food could be oily at times, but it still leaves one craving for more. Who says oily food can’t taste great! I ordered the black pepper chicken with baked potato and pasta as sides. It costs $6.90 for a fulfilling meal which satisfies my hungry stomach.

I like Four Leaves bakeries for their mini buns section. I often see people flocking to Four Leaves @ Tiong Bahru Plaza during evening hours to get some bread.

I got the cranberry loaf, bread was soft and the amount of cranberries was generous and super juicy. I enjoyed the loaf on its own or with peanut butter!

Brunch at Riders Cafe is always good. I enjoy the ambience of dining with the full view of greens. I ordered the breakfast which comes with sausage, egg, bread and bacon. It’s a hearty meal which leaves you craving for more. It costs around $15 for a meal which tastes great. Definitely value for money.

Met my family at the din tai fung here for a family dinner. As usual, this outlet is always crowded, even on weekdays, you'd probably have to queue for at least 10-15 minutes before managing to get a table.

We ordered quite a number of dishes to share between ourselves. We ordered 3 longs of the classic xlb, wanton noodles soup and jia jiang noodles. Service was prompt as usual, the staff made it a point to refill our tea constantly.

frost bite. Smile Jul 31, 2011

I got myself a Popsicle from frost bite. I thought it was interesting, it's like I don't actually get to find these fresh ones commonly. From a rather wide spread of flavors to choose from, I chose the honey soy since I figured a lighter flavor would be better for digestion. Would like to try the chocolate blueberry cheese cake next time. They're really yummy.
