McD's breakfast Smile Apr 14, 2011

This MCD is located just near to the Clementi NTUC 24 hours at the central. It’s very crowded sometimes and you might not able to find a seat because there are not many seats and the space there is limited. But the good thing is this MCD is opens for 24 hours. You may enjoy their meal at the lat night when you unable to get into sleep tongue The serving staffs are friendly. I got my breakfast there, my McGriddles with egg. It’s comes with a hashbrown and tea/coffee. I like to have it with Ice Milo but additional charges incurred for changing the drinks. Their breakfast meal is up to the normal standard.

Coffee and Toast  OK Apr 14, 2011

Categories : Thai | Singaporean | Café

Normally it’s very crowded at lunch time here. If you are just takeaway drinks and bread, it should be fine. I’ve tried the Ice Milk Tea over there, it’s quite plain for me. The tea fragrance and taste is not that strong and the it’s not so sweet as the milk that added is not enough. They put too much ice in the glass also, it’s finished fast after a few slurp. I don’t really like their milk tea which it’s selling at $1.60. I’ve tried their butter kaya toast and its taste not bad. I like the kaya because it’s really taste homemade kaya. In terms of the kaya coloring, it’s really looks like cooked with pandan and it’s gives the very light green color to the kaya. The butter in between the bread is too small and tiny so its melt fast. I coun’t really bite on the butter either to taste the cold butter.

Kusabi Japanese Casual Dining Smile Apr 14, 2011

I can’t see many customers inside this restaurant everytime I walk by. I am wondering why but I decided to give a try. We’ve ordered the a non-spicy ramen called Marutoku Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen - $19 that come with Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen and Marutoku Topping (egg, large seaweeds, bamboo shoots and 4 large pieces of Cha Siew). There are shredded leek, anions, seaweed, bamboo shoots and Char Siew as the toppings on the ramen bowl. The soup based is well done, I drank finished the soup to the last drop. The noodles are normal for me. But the toppings are fantastic, especially the Char Siew. They cook it to the perfection and the saltiness is right to the spot when you have it with your soup.

Besides, we’ve ordered the spicy ramen called Gekikara Uobushi Tonkotsu Ramen - $13. You can choose the spicy level based on your preference, 1 chili to 3 chilies. My advice to you, choose 1 chili is good enough. I could take spicy food but this is very spicy. It’s not because of the spicy oil on the top of the ramen, but it’s comes from the soup based itself.

EAT.  OK Apr 12, 2011
Categories : Noodles

EAT. is a good choice when you run out of idea what to eat. and I’ve ordered dried fishball noodles. The quality of the noodles is standard as what you can find at any other EAT. stall. But weird, they didn’t give us the veggie that day, maybe they run out of veggie? I’ve ordered the “Wu Xiang”, fried beancurd and fried tofu also. The fried beancurd is way too oily. The oily flowing out from the beancurd when I press it with my spoon, the oily flowing out from the beancurd. At last, I wash off the oil using the soup. sad

Happy Lemon. Happy Mood.  Smile Apr 12, 2011

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

It’s new opening in Tanjong Pagar Exchange. It’s currently located next to the Mr.Bean. If you see the queue in front of a stall, you should know it’s the Happy Lemon stall. The queue is not long as KOI. After you make your order at the cashier, they will give you the cute number. Then wait them to call your number and collect your drinks. Their drinks are not cheap though. You can find the drink from $2.80~$5.00. I tried the Green Tea Yakult, taste nice. It’s not too sour or too sweet and it’s good for digestion? smile They have a special series, drinks with rock salt and cheese. Will try it someday. lol
