Tried this Shiratama Kurizen ($6.80) [red bean with soft serve ice cream] for tea break the other day.
I like it very much as I've always had a soft spot for red bean dessert. Paired with an ice cream, it was heavenly! The hot and cold combination is really good. You can taste the individual red bean pieces which is always fun to bite into and the soft serve ice cream is exactly as its name suggest - SOFT! It melted in my mouth as you can see, it has started to melt soon after they serve it!
The mochi balls are made of flour and was really chewy! The bf did not like the mochi balls so I had them all to myself! YAY!

I ordered this Chicken Penyet (not the fried version), as I was enticed my the queue again! I also saw many people eating this dish after walking 1 round around the food court. This cost $5.90.
The chili is extremely potent, similarly to the time that I ate it. The tofu wasn't as bad this time round. A little softer on the fried part. And for the main star! The chicken! The sauce was quite sweet, even sweeter than the last time, you definitely need to pair it with rice so that the effect is not as strong. The chicken is quite soft but I think they might have grilled it a little too long as it was juicy.

OVerall, this is definitely better than the fish penyet as firstly, you don't have to deal with messy bones and this is much easier to eat.

Ordered one plate of Sashimi Miyabe ($25.90). We changed all of it to Salmon Sashimi as none of us likes tuna or yellow fish so it's quite a waste. Calculated the price between this platter and 5-7 salmon sashimi and this turns out to be the cheapest. Ichiban Sushi is also the ONLY that allows us to change all the sashimi to Salmon. We also found out that this is the cheapest sashimi out of the 3 so there's really no reason to not allow us to change.
The salmon sashimi is quite thick over here and i love how it taste really good with wasabi.
There was a promotion going on and we also ordered this sakura sake to pair with the sashimi.
Sake and Sashimi is the best combination ever in a Japanese establishment!

Went to visit my grandma who lives all the way at the opposite end of where I live with my cousins and one of them was craving for pizza so we went to the nearest Pizza Hut! We ordered the Ocean Catch to share and I absolutely love everything about the pizza from pizza hut!
The crust is thick, fluffy, spongy, and greasy at the same time! Baked in a deep pan with high sides, this pizza is really good! A tasty selection of tuna, shrimps, squids, pineapple, tomato which sits on a bed of cool lime mayonnaise sauce. The explosion of a variety of taste in your mouth is absolutely mama-mia-ish!

Do try this flavour if you're going to the restaurant as it's a epitome of a perfect pizza which leaves you craving for more!

I ordered this soup, not too sure of its health benefits but I love how it’s sweet and salty enough at the same time. They are also very generous in wanting to serve the best to their customers, as they will scoop one whole ladle of ingredients specially to go with the soup. ALSO! THERE’S FREE REFILL! But I wonder how many of us are actually thick-skinned enough to keep going back for more refills.
Pairing the soup with rice is a simple and nutritious way to have a meal. IF you want more, switch to the pumpkin rice which is even more nutritious and power-packed than the white rice to enjoy your meal.
