Plain Vanilla Bakery is a cute little hidden shop located at the 2nd storey of the shophouses along holland village. Although it has a small interior, it is usually packed with people with a sweet tooth or cupcake cravings! The cupcakes are priced at $3.50/ea. & $19 for 6! More or less the market price for a cupcake. The flavours available each day varies so you may want to give them a call/check their FB page before going down to check whether your favourite flavour is available!

Flavours that i bought: Carrot(cake), Milk Chocolate Banana, Cookies and Cream, Dark Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Red VelvetBite-sized american carrot cake! I like how it tasted exactly like an american carrot cake, the icing was a tad too sweet for this cupcake, but overall, i like how it's moist and.. fluffy! Haha!This cupcake would be perfect for those who are a little health conscious! Cheat by telling yourself that there's a little banana at the side to indulge in this guilty pleasure! I love how the icing on this cupcake was consistent and matched the banana nicely. One of my all time favourite flavor! Pure perfection. I didn't let this one although it seemed to be quite a unique flavour. Actually, I dont really like dark chocolate to start with, so a little bias here. However, dark chocolate lovers would definitely love this one as it is authentic-ly bitter enough!This one was okay for me, no WOW! punch for me.

& saving the best for the last!This flavour is a MUST TRY! for a cupcake and i think plain vanilla delivered this very nicely. Sweet and light, just like how the store promises! Plain o' cupcake that satisfies all cravings! Gorgeous and delightful little cupcakes made with love! (the PV sticker looks like it spells love! how cute!!)

Went to visit my grandma who lives all the way at the opposite end of where I live with my cousins and one of them was craving for pizza so we went to the nearest Pizza Hut! We ordered the Ocean Catch to share and I absolutely love everything about the pizza from pizza hut!
The crust is thick, fluffy, spongy, and greasy at the same time! Baked in a deep pan with high sides, this pizza is really good! A tasty selection of tuna, shrimps, squids, pineapple, tomato which sits on a bed of cool lime mayonnaise sauce. The explosion of a variety of taste in your mouth is absolutely mama-mia-ish!

Do try this flavour if you're going to the restaurant as it's a epitome of a perfect pizza which leaves you craving for more!

Bought a cake from royal cakes for my Mom's birthday! Similar to the logcake size. They also allow you to sample the flavours before buying! (really good scheme!)This is the coffee cake as my mom loves coffee! I love this cake a lot even though I'm not a fan of coffee flavour. It was really really soft, as though I was eating tofu! I also like that the flavour wasn't overpowering but a nice taste that lingers in your mouth even after you've taken your last bite. There was also this thin glossy layer of jelly which was really nice to eat! This will be the place I'm going to go to get cakes for my friends during their birthdays!

I found myself craving for the thick hot matcha at MOF the other day and decided to make a quick walk over during lunch hours.

I merely ordered this hot Matcha and sipped it lightly while reading my book as though I was some rich woman with all the time in the world to watch the world go by. As the soft japanese music play overhead and it wasn't a very busy day, I felt like i was in Japan! haha!I love the hot matcha here as they are really really generous in giving the matcha powder. Nearer to the bottom, you can clearly see the large amount of matcha powder, one pot could most probably brew about 4-5 times! (although I believe it is not advisable to brew the same packet of tea too many times!)

Do head down and try the hot green tea if you want to have a relaxing place to chill!

Jap Chae has always been one of my favourite korean dishes every since I tried it at another korean place. I'm always searching for the next best Jap Chae and the one at Bornga clearly came close to the first. The glass noodle has been stir fried with beef and vegetables and even some egg slices! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they're always so generous with the sesame seeds! There are also some shredded carrots and black fungus hiding around! This dish can definitely serve more than 1 petite sized eater and may even go up to 3-4 if you're ordering the other bbq dishes!

I love this dish and I will definitely be back to try their BBQ dishes which my neighbouring tables were eating!
