Soba lunch at Paragon Smile Jan 27, 2018

Categories : Japanese

Visited this restaurant at basement of Paragon. Crowds is full and have to wait for about 10 mins.

Place is well decorated and with a high platform too. Started to order their signature tempera soba and Shimbashi combo soba set.

Tempera soba ($21.80)
The soup texture is very refreshing and light. There is no MSG stated on the wall too. The tempera consists of vegetables, prawns, green beans, mushrooms etc. Very nice after mixture with tempera sauce.
The noodles is hand made and slightly hard type. But is very nice.

Shimbashi combo soba set($21.80)
The serve with 2 type of soba noodle. One of is is cold and hot type. The taste is different as I like cold type of a lot of ingredients inside and tofu slides. The tempera set served consists is actually same as above. Very nice for those who like soba noodles.

Lastly requested for side dish , Manju desert 2 and Shimbashi roll. Both are very favourable for me. The taste is not so sweet and look alike Mochi but Black Semane seed taste.

Overall is a Good recommendation for soba lovers.

Behind Centrepoint, this place have good recommendation for ramen from friends. So try out today. Ordered their best seller “Spicy Shio Ramen and Karamiso Yasai with pork Gyoza.

The decoration in this place look traditional Japanese style from the photo. The quite crowded at this time.

Finally our food arrive and first site for spicy shio ramen was great and top with a lot of different vegetables. It is fresh.
The chilli sauce is just right and don’t be cheated from the soup images.

Karamiso ramen was also one of their signature ramen. The receipe include thick pork and Japanese Tamago eggs. Very soft and fresh throughout.

This time visited Hoshino Coffee at Plaza.
I like the surrounding decoration have always unique for his fusion style.

Order their lunch deal and also their best spaghetti. Always I’m not in favour for spaghetti but would be their signature Hoshino Spaghetti.

The spaghetti is 100% perfection, serve with garlic soy style sauce, it not too oily. Toppling with the spinach, sesame, tomato, mushroom, half cooked egg on top it. I surely love it with sesame seeds too.

With their signature Hoshino blend black coffee with ice lemon.
It was a good combination and finish up in no time.

High recommendation for spaghetti lover.

Korea food lover Smile Dec 28, 2017

Categories : Korean | Korean BBQ

Was craving for Korea BBQ and search for this place from review.
It was at level 4 quite coner just near elevator.

We ordered their signature 4 colour sliced pork and favour bingsu.

This order consists of 4 colour set of pork with original, herb, spicy and special Korea sauce.
The overall was cooked by their trainer staff which it very polite and nice service. There are alot a of side dish along like beans sprouts, tufu, vegetables, seaweeds etc. Just like Korea eating style wrapping vegetables with some spicy sauce, a slide of pork and choose those toppling need. Just place inside your mouth and enjoy this special treat. I like to dip pork directly to sauce which is tastefully done too.

With the combo set, there is a seafood stew with spicy 🌶 korea soup. Toppling of seafood include 2 big clams , prawns, tofu, vegetables and sotong. I personally like the soup texture as it is spicy and “hot” in hot plate.

The last was strawberry serenade (Bingsu). The toppling with almonds , strawberry , ice cream and a lot of peanuts.
The thin sliced iced is made from milk...Very nice looking shape and sweet. Without any milk topping is already sweet. For those who take care of their body ? Like it or hate it. Hmmm

Was at T2 for special occasion and visited SORA. Well decorated surrounding from outside view. A tag was issued for each member. This tag will be used for food ordering and payment after check out 👍.

My first try was spicy tendon $17.70. It consists fried stuff like prawns, chicken, mushroom, crabs stick, pumpkins etc.
The fried was well done with Japan rice. The sauce mixture make it a great combination.

Will try other stall when next visit. 😀
There is other Japanese food there too, Ramen , pizza, tofu spicy, Okonomiyaki etc.
