Next attempt Jack's Place, ordered truffle fried with cheese , shrimp with Golden slipper lobster and BBQ chicken. Place was well decorating as usual and lots of ppl. Without long wait, out serving came together. The pasta was well done with shrimp which made is sweet and lobster size of my palm. BBQ is a healthy choice from menu. Like the meat so tender and together with some salad vegetables, mesh fries and tomatoes. Dame shiok with chili too. The curly fries is serve quite hot and fresh with cheese on a large plate. Overall is good.

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Restaurant | Zi Char

Reached Zhi Cha @ Toa Payoh name Uncle Leong seafood this afternoon with my kaki's.

Of course ordered their signature dish Claypot Crab Bee Hoon noodles, sambal Kang Kong , Fried Beancurb and ABC Pork rib. When we reached there , seat quite empty as late lunch. Served slightly late about 15 min. Nice to see the Claypot crab noodles with chilli padi. The soup is thick and not oily at all. I like the aroma of soup and noodles with taste just right. The crab meat is very fresh as it doesn't stuck on shell. It can serve for 4 member with additional soup and noodles.
The sambal Kang Kong is slightly chilli and very fresh made. Those love chilli feel will love it. The fried Beancurb is soft and tender but don't really like those sauce as it is a little sweet for my taste.

Overall is a must try expecially crab which I felt must not miss.

Lunch treat OK Feb 11, 2016

Categories : Shanghainese | Restaurant | Dim Sum | Noodles

Still in CNY mood for lunch treat. Ordered my favorite dumplings and La mian. This round ordered mixed dumpling, La mian with vegetable and pork wanton, spring rolls. Dumplings have mixed names which I have forgotten but 8 favors in all. Dip with gingers and sauce was heaven. After completely done then came the main course La mian. The soup is dame shoik and filling for oneself. The taste is very well done not oily as some soup does. Add on a plate of Lotus egg salted egg bun and spring rolls. Wow, this dim sum is nice too but taste is quite normal I think. However I like those buns as first time try out. It not as salty as I thought and mixed with lotus was good combination. End with my favorite drink a lime juice. Happy New Year and more good food and stay healthy for all.

Have been for a long time not visiting Sebawang shopping centre. Went basement 1 and found this restaurant with a nice decorated. We ordered pepper teriyaki chicken set. The meal is very tender and with this right amount of pepper. It taste very nice and serve with onion rings and fries. It is really value for money S$9.90. This serves is right for one person per plate.
Waiting time was slightly long maybe too many people but we are serve of additional soup which is a good quality service from them.
LOL, the surrounding was also well docorated with old fashion styles. Money well spent.

Categories : Seafood | Kids-Friendly

Today is everybody birthday.
Have a lunch treat food gathering. Went down this places heard that signature dish is crabs. So without delay, we ordered their signature dish white pepper crabs accompanied with our favourite fried frog legs , Claypot beancurd and sambal Kang Kong. After about 15mins wait time, fried frog legs was served first and follow by sambal Kang kong. Claypot tofu and prawns will fresh and spongy. The taste is quite normal buy ingredient is well balance and fresh. Finally arrival of lead, cRABs. It is nice and meaty with freshness with some pepper smell too. The crabs is about 1.2Kg. The skin doesn't stick to crabs shell totally and easy for eater like me. yummyyummyyummyEnvironment was decorated with a lot of awards and Crabs symbol.

Overall was a good experience and fullness inside out stomach ending with Thailand coconut 🌴 drink. 👍👍👍

Prices slightly higher than normal restaurant and could have better option anywhere for this standard. But surely is a experience shouldn't miss in Singapore.
