Visited last Sunday, the resturant give us a clean and sleek look and it give us a different feeling from the usual vegetarian restuarant. They mainly serves peranakan-thai style cusine and the food was really awesome!

Yam Treasure Ring: The yam was really soft and topped with a whole lots of ingredients. However, the price is quite steep based on the size given.

Thai Mixed vegetables: They mix in a whole lot of fresh vegetables and it quite norm to say.

Penang Rendang: This dish was quite unexpected. Who would have thought that the rendang dish in vegetarian restuarant would smells and taste this good. I would not have expect that they actually use mushroom to replace the usual meat that we ate in normal peranakan cusine. I would definetely recommend this dish for their first experience in this restuarant.

Thai Battered Oyster Mushroom: This was quite a normal deep fried mushroom dish that will not goes wrong in majority of the food eatery.

Lemongrass drink: The taste of lemongrass we had that day was quite subtle, not much of the lemongrass fragrance.

I would recommend this place for those people who would like to have a change from their usual intake of meat and seafood. This is also a good place as a kickstart for those people who wanted to convert to vegan/vegetarian.

Categories : Café

Situated along Foch road with limited parking space around that area. We spend quite sometime looking for the cafe and carpark space. The atmosphere of the cafe was quiet, which is suitable for some romantic brunch date for young couples.

Pulled pork Egg benedict: This recommended dish was really awesome! The egg was really flowy (the type that i like) and the pulled pork was soft. Both the pulled pork and egg benedict makes a good combination!

Full works: Typical breakfast combo (scrambled egg, sausage, toast topped with avocado and bacon). I would say the portion was quite huge but the taste was just above average for this dish.

Duck Aligo Olio: The most value-for-money dish. Aligo olio linguine topped with a duck leg. The duck leg was done well as the meat was so so so tender.

Rosemary chicken: Chicken leg together with baby potatoes, asparagus and tomatoes. The not-so-woth-it dish as the portion was quite small hence not recommended for people with big appetite. The chicken was tender which goes well with the creamy white wine sauce.

Tried the raved matcha cake too! It was super matcha-ty and i really like it. Recommended for matcha lovers as the taste was super strong. Some of the family don't like it due to the strong green tea taste.

Black ebi burger
This was damm good! The charcoal brioche bun was filled in with breaded prawn patty and special yuzu kosho mayonnaise sauce. True to the picture, the prawn patty was filled with prawn totally! The yuzu kosho mayo sauce that was added score another point for the burger. Totally recommend this!

Truffled mushroom burger
The burger was pretty average as compared to another that I ate. The truffle smell was not that strong to me and the 120 day grain fed beef patty was quite dry. For a truffle lover like me, the lack of truffled taste and smell has already put the burger at a lower place in my heart.
The fries that come with it was good too. The portion of the burger together with the fries would be too much for a small eater like me.

Southern style fried chicken
One of the better fried chickens i have tried so far as compared to other fried chicken speciality shop outside. The fried chicken was tender and not too oily and it goes perfect with the maple syrup that comes along with it.

Siriracha glazed fried chicken
Wow! The level of spicyness is comparable to the buffalo wings! My tongue was almost “catching on fire” after a bite into the chicken without pre-hand warning. I would recommend to the spicy eaters and daredevils.

Curry fries
Curry fries was one of the better fries out of the 4 we tried (including the original one that came as a side with the burger). However, the curry taste was not that obvious to me and i wouldn’t be able to tell it apart from the usual fries without the curry leaves on it.

Sichuan fries
The initial bite of the fries has a peppery taste and following on, there is a numbing sensation on the tongue. The flavour was quite unique as I have not experience it elsewhere before. I would say is a one-of-a-kind experience for the more adventurous goers.

Chilli cheese fries
4 different kinds of chilli was topped on the fries together with cheese. It would probably be a good choice for those who wanted to have a taste of chilli and cheese for those who are not a fan of spicy and/or cheesy food. The cheese and chilli taste was a little too subtle for my tongue.

Had buffet lunch here with le familia. The spread variety was quite substantial. Took the raw seafood as appetizer and it was really fresh! Had 3 different kind of oyster on that day (US, France and Canada).

I skipped the sashimi section as i had alot for the past few days, hahaha! Moving on to the live cooking station, I had angus beef and crepe. I was so touched on that day as it was the first time of my life i have seen crepe appear in a buffet. That almost move my tears, hahaha! The beef was really good, well-seasonsed and cooked to the excellent doness.

They had my favourite chocolate fondue, provided with mashmallow, grape and strawberry. They have different types of cookies, cakes and also ice cream! Especially lemongrass ice cream! I had my reservation on that initially but after "kope" a mouth from my sister's bowl, i brisk walked (maintaining my glam-ness here) to the ice cream section and scooped out a large portion that filled up the entire bowl. The taste was amazing good!

They have 5 ala carte dishes that is unlimited servings, which means that they will make and serve you after u ordered. The lists contains pork sausage, lamb rack, FOIRE GRAS, cod fish and award winning char kuey tiao. Had 2 portion of foire gras and cod fish, hehehe!

Definitely recommend this buffet for good quality and quantity.

Arrived at the restuarant at ard 6.45pm, it was still quite empty. The staff was quick to serve us to our seats and attend to us when we were ready to order. Bought the $50 voucher from Qoo10 at th price of $30.

Mega chicken (Yangyam): The chicken was still as good as usual. The yangyam sauce that coated around the chicken was really flavourful and it make us lick every single drop of the sauce that was left behind. I find the mega chicken is more worth it for me as I am not really a wing person lol

Bulgogi fries: I really like this as it was something that appear unexpectedly good  to me. The fries was topped with beef to give a sweet taste and cheese that gives the cheesy smell. Yum yum!! Recommend for those who like to try new things apart from the usual truffle or salted egg yolk fries. Would try their kimchi fries the next visit, it looks nice too as the couple beside us was having that.

Yangpa Bomb: Deep fried onion, pretty normal but it comes with a spicy taste when we ate towards the middle portion. It seems that the seasoning was not well-proportion. Had better ones before at other places.
