to reach there, a bus can be taken from Paya Lebar MRT station. 10min travel time by bus.

from far you will be able to notice the shophouse, it is painted in white with black details, and you will also find the big circular logo with the Big Bad Wolf inside.

was quiet for a wednesday evening. the light in the store is quite dim and cosy though.

service crew is very friendly, services are quick too. They serve various type of Beer, some seasonal beer too. a great place for Beer lovers!

Lindeman's Apple Beer (so refreshing, love fruits beer!)

Chicken & Mushroom Burger (Worth Trying but wish the chicken portion is a little bigger, nice thick fries too)

Cottage Pie (minced Beef on the base covered with soft Mashed Potatoes, oven baked (if i am not wrong), overall is nice but minced beef can be better)

Will back for the Cottage Pie!

Good!

Dinner @ Bugis's Qiji Smile Jan 26, 2012

Feeling something economical today for dinner, so friend recommended to go Qi Ji, some local franchise store, heard about them and came across a few of them, but never really try it before. so why not

from far, you can see the store painted with green walls and the logo is in big chinese character, first thought is that it should be a Vegetarian store, but i was wrong, they are Halal certified!

They are quite famous for their Nasi Lemak Set, Mee Siam, Laksa and Po-piah! guess because of the selling price, affordable and food looks great too!

had the Mee Siam! was very good!, the gravy is spicy enough and sour enough too! for people who find it not spicy enough, ask for more chilli!.

In case you dont know, they do offer catering service too! great for corporate functions!

Best known for their Taiwanese Porridge, the coffee lounge also provides The “Design Your Own Local Degustation Set Menu” which allows customers to choose 4 or 5 out of the best known local dishes to eat (in small portion though)

But since as a singaporean i have tried most of the Local Dishes, why not skip it for this time and try the Taiwan Porridge instead.

Managed to get a table along the window panel, service was good. nice place to have brunch with your close ones.

Fried Taman Fish with Sesame Seeds (Damn crispy and nice, love it)

Braised Pork Belly with Dark Soya Sauce (Best and Must try of all dishes, the pork belly instantly melts in your mouth)

Steamed Sea Bass With Crispy Bean Paste (crispy Bean paste is very hard but goes well with the porridge, and fish is fresh)

Wok-fried Beef with Black Pepper (Very nice and tender)

Chilled Beancurd in Japenese Soya Sauce & Pork Floss (ok)

Sauteed Prawns with Dried Chilli (Not bad, Prawn quite fresh and Q~~~)

Mango Pamelo Sago (Very Nice)

Bread and Pudding (Nice and Rich)

Since there are so many dishes that i have tried, and i really wish to share the pictures with other readers, so i have pasted the URL to the pictures for viewing purpose.

Anyway for the price that i have paid for the meal, is consider a little expensive just for porridge alone. but it will be a good place if you are willingly to pay for good food. =)
remember to skip your breakfast so that you can eat more when you are here!

They offer at least two kind of cooking methods to each kind of meat/vegetables.

A new Thai Restaurant @ Wisma Atria, serving Thai & International Cuisine.

Walked by the restaurant and got attracted by their cakes displayed in their fridge. the friendly service crew offer me to try the sample of one of the c

Glass Noodles with Slice Pork! (Heavenly GOOD! Must TRY!!! i even finish drinking the whole bowl of Soup!, Good recommendation by the staff)

Chicken Parmesan & Salad (So So only, they shouldnt have pour the gravy over the chicken cutlet, it soften the crispy cutlet)

Chocolate Cheesecake (Very Nice, love the crunchy biscuit crumbles on the bottom of the cake!)

Two Thumbs up for great service and Food!!!, i must say these staffs have a certain good service/standard when comes to services, although i must say their food is a little bit expensive and above the Thai Express Range, but i think the good service and good food is have a price to pay! =)

Dessert @ 1-Caramel Smile Jan 26, 2012

Categories : Café | Desserts and Cakes

Recently the 1-caramel @ The LUXE was closed, and found out from Magazine that there is another outlet @ Rochester Park, so decided to make a visit there, from Buona Vista MRT, there is a short cut to reach Rochester Park, but you need to be careful since it is cutting through the road right infront of the new mega structure which is still on going under construction.

you will walk pass this old old abandoned 2 stories bungalow which is fenced u before reaching the Rochester Park.

we had a hard time to locate 1-caramel, from the start of the street and walk all the way to the another end of the street we did find the cafe. then came called the cafe and told by the staff that it is located on the second floor of the bungalow house @ the start of the street...

so actually you need to walk pass the restaurant below and go up the stairs to enter the cafe/boutique. we were there around 4pm, no customers at all. will be good for someone who needs some quiet time alone or a quiet place to read a book.

Strawberry Cupcake ($3.50 only, quite worth it, the cupcake is soft and love the bread flakes on top of the cupcake) they have a variety of cupcakes too!

Vanilla Souffle with Strawberry Ice Cream (The Ice Cream DAMN nice, SOuffle ok only)

Tea-Ramisu (quite good, but beware of the choco powder on top, it will choke you)

They have other cakes that are also delicious, but i tried them before, so this time try the ones that i never had before.
