Categories : Food Court | Dim Sum

This eatery is opposite the Subordinate Courts. Its unimpressive brown exterior does not do justice to its food. It has an array of cantonese dim sum.Other things on the menu include fruit juices, herbal drinks, premium drinks, various beverages and desserts. There are more than 32 types of dim sum, toasted buns and bread if dim sum is not your thing. For lunch and dinner, you can have curry fish, chicken and vegetables with rice. The delicious claypot fish comes with a fresh slice of fish and steaming hot rice.($6.00)You can choose bread instead of rice.
We also had siew mai, chicken big pau, char siew rice roll, congee with century egg,and prawn roll(pictured ).The portions rather small($2.50 to $3.00) but we like their freshness of ingredients and ambience. In the corner is a piano with Christian reading materials beside it.

What attracted us to the Just Acia was the non-stop flow of ice-cream.But the food did not disappoint. The deep fried dory fish with melted cheese comes with rice ,soup and pickles. It cost $8.80.It is tasty and the melted cheese goes well with the fish. We also had herbal chicken soup costing $13.10.The soup was aromatic with herbs and delicious with the rice. Service is prompt .We even tried making a coke float ourselves. It was a delicious lunch.

Wood Fired Pizza Smile Sep 03, 2012

Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pasta

We visited Modesto's Restaurant at VivoCity. We heard about the traditional Italian Wood-fired pizza and decided to give it a try. We ordered a regular Quattro Stagioni which has 4 main ingredients served in quarters and not mixed. It cost $26.50.The ingredients are tomato, cheese, mixed seafood, cookedpork ham, mushroom and black olives. The aroma is saliva-inducing.Before the pizza arrived,we had crusty bread to be dipped with fresh garlic, vinegar, extra virgin olive oil.The dip is not greasy nor oily at all.The service is good and you can sit outside looking at passengers alighting from the ferry or inside the restaurant in cool comfort. It has been a "tasty" experience.
