I was feeling quite Monday Blue at work so i contacted my classmate A whether she wants to meet me up for dinner before class at 7pm!
It's actually quite a rush since i end work at 5.30pm so i met her up at Kazokutei's entrance
Service was quite fast that day as there wasn't much dinner crowd yet
I ordered the ebi omu rice and A got a set which consists of sushi, udon and fried chicken!
I really like my omu rice, the rice inside is fried rice with some mixed vegetables and tomato sauce
And it even comes with a small bowl of mushroom soup!
For A's set, she find it ok overall but she don't really likes the fried chicken as she finds it a tad too salty!
Overall would recommend this place as it's still quite cheap as compared to some Japanese Restaurants

I went with my friends to Novena after TGIF to source for good food
However most places are quite packed and my friend suggested The Vines Restaurant as she ever went once and commented on their delicious ribs!!!!
Being a food gourmet (as we self claimed ), how can the rest of us miss the chance to try that out!
The service's quite good and fast, ambiance of the place is super lovely!
I love the decor of the place too, warm and cozy feeling
The salad's quite good, very fresh and refreshing.
However i find the fries serving is quite little, but it's ok.
The ribs itself is wow though it looks small but very meaty with super tasty BBQ sauce.
Definitely worth the money to go there have a try

My friend and i love Korean food hence we decided to try out Bibigo since neither of us had it before
We order this value set meal.
My friend wanted the chicken kimchi soup and i wanted the bibimbap!
And we didn't realise that just nice if we order this under the set, we get a free gyoza dish and their malt rice tea!!!
I would really recommend the tea, very fragrant!!!
And it helps to clear out stomach after a hearty meal
I love the bibimbap, it's not very oily and it's very healthy with beef, cucumber, mushrooms, egg and seaweed flakes!
My friend's kimchi soup is very appetizing too
Would recommend korean foodies to try this out!

I'm a fan of korean food though not so much on the kimichi side as im afraid of spiciness!
So you can imagine my wariness when my friends ask to have our dinner there!
However i was indeed pleasantly surprised!
It was not that spicy and there is the kimichi taste that somehow leaves me wanting for more!!!
We paid for the meal which consists of the kimichi hot pot, small side dishes, small seafood pancake and a soft serve ice cream
The small dishes were refillable, i especially love the cold tofu so much
So much so that the waitress kindly give me a big bowl of it after me asking to refill a few times, service was that good!!!
The pancake was ok, the kimchi hot pot really is the best with lots of ingredients!!!
It was a good and satisfying portion for us three!!!
And the ice cream certainly cool us down after the dinner, yum yum

What's a nice and cheap alternative for dinner?
My answer to this is Tori Q's bento!
Me and my friend ordered Set A and B respectively
My Set A consists of 2 chicken sticks, 1 pork stick and 1 stick of chicken ball.
My friend's Set B consists of 2 grilled chicken sticks, 1 chicken with green pepper and 1 stick of chicken ball.
I love my dinner that day!
Portion was great, generous serving of the pearl rice and tasty signature Tori Q sauce
Not forgetting the "veggies" in the splatters of seaweed flakes on the rice
I like the tender chicken and chicken balls, the pork was a tad tough though!
Otherwise, the meal's great!
This is what i call value for the price paid
