Satisfying Bah Kut Teh Smile Nov 13, 2010

I have been eating at Leong Kee for over two years (if I remember correctly), and they have now taken over the next shop to accomodate more seats!

The herbs based (hokkien style) soup is fragrant and nice, and a little sweet. The liver is added into the soup just before serving so it will not be over cooked.

The prawn paste chicken does seems like a factory mass produced product supplied to them. So I would suggest giving it a miss.

The braised peanut is a side dish that is not to be missed. However, it got a little too salty when I visited last week.

Do note it can get rather crowded. Closed on Mondays.

Recommended Dish(es):  Bah kut teh, mixed organ soup, braised peanuts

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Dinner)
