Bak Koot Teh  Smile Apr 29, 2012
Categories : Coffeeshop | Bak Kut Teh

Did not have to wait too long to get a seat even though we went on Friday evening.
The Bak koot teh soup tasted flavourful and slightly peppery and meat was fresh and tender. We also ordered claypot pig intestines, which was fresh and tasty and went well with white rice. The salted vegetables and you tiao were average and went well with the soup and rice. I think this is a must try for bak koot teh lovers.

Fei fei wanton noodle Smile Apr 29, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Coffeeshop | Noodles

The noodles are fresh and chewy, wonton is flavourful, but the serving is small. We also find it quite pricey - $3.50 for small bowl which only comes with 2 wonton. We also tried the dumpling soup, each dumpling is filled with minced meat and prawn, tasted fresh and flavourful. Overall we enjoyed the food but find it slightly pricey considering it is located at a coffeeshop premise.

We ordered double chocolate cake, carrot cake and truffle fries to share. The serving of the truffle fries was really big, fries were fresh and crispy, but there could be more truffle taste. The carrot cake was fresh and delicious and we love the walnuts in the cake. The double chocolate cake came with vanilla ice-cream, it is a great choice and must try for chocolate lovers. Overall we enjoyed the food, but find it slightly pricey.

Butter crossiant Smile Apr 01, 2012

There was no queue and heard good reviews and hence decided to give it a try. The croissant was fresh, crispy and smelled really good. It was tasty and not too oily, good enough to eat it plain. However, i find it quite costly, $2.50 for one. I think i will patronise again only if there is no queue.

Bento set Smile Mar 17, 2012
Categories : Japanese | Food Court

Ordered the bento set which comes with fried chicken, Saba fish, miso soup and rice as it was on promotion, only five dollars which I find it relatively cheap. Saba fish tasted fresh and sweet, really yummy and I enjoyed every mouth of it. Fried Chicken was also fresh and crispy. Overall I enjoyed my lunch and I will definitely have the bento set again.
