Yoguru Smile May 28, 2011

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

I was craving for some dessert after dinner and decided to grab some yogurt from yoguru! They were offering two flavors, the yogubliss and the original flavoured one.

Yogubliss is made up of pomegranate and dragon fruit, and is a little more fruity and sweeter than the original flavor.

I ordered the original flavour in the end as it had just the right amount of tartness.

TCC! Smile Dec 30, 2010

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

TCC is wonderful place and i loved how it is very classy and elegant in its layout. It is also a very romantic place for guys to take their girlfriends out to!

I ordered the Roasted Rack of Lamb with Apple Puree while my boyfriend ordered the Oven-baked Chicken with Spiced Cream Sauce. We also had fried calamari as appetizer and earl grey tea.

Roasted Rack of Lamb with Apple Puree
I choose for the lamb to be well done cause i was fearful that the dish might have a strong taste/smell that mutton sometimes have when not well cooked. Strangely one piece was well done while one piece was medium rare. I prefer the piece that was well done as i found it more tender and soft.

Oven-baked Chicken with Spiced Cream Sauce
My boyfriend's oven baked chicken was nice and tender and i quite liked the cream sauce that came with it.

We ordered some banana dessert which was quite special but wasn't worth the price i guess. Will be back!

PORK floss buns! Smile Dec 15, 2010
Categories : Bakery

After coming from ramen play, i decided to get some breakfast from breaktalk located next to it!

BreadTalk is one of Singapore’s most successful bakeries and can be found sprawled across the nation in shopping centers and many convenient locations!

Pork Floss Bun

One of BreadTalk's most popular products is none other than is its signature pork floss bun which is deliciously topped with a generous layer of pork floss. I especially loved the sweet translucent mayo/cream that oozes out when u take a bite into the centre of the bun! The pork floss is not only generously given, but also light and tasty! The bun is soft and easy for my teeth to sink into.

Curry Dozo

Another one of my favourites from BreadTalk is its ‘curry dozo’! This innocent looking donut is actually a delicious treat in disguise! The inside of the bun is filled with curry puff fillings such as potato, bits of chicken and egg! Combined with the crispy exterior of the donut, this is a perfect spicy combination!

At $1.50 a piece, it may not necessarily be the cheapest buns in Singapore, but it definitely matches the price in its taste! The current promotion offers you 5 types of breads (for you to mix and match) at $6!

Fiery beef noodles Smile Jun 29, 2011

Categories : Shanghainese | Restaurant | Noodles

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is one of my favorite chinese restaurants for its affordable and value for money dishes and chinese hospitality.

I ordered my usual (which was also my favorite)- the spicy beef noodles, which had a delicious, chilli oiled broth coupled with sliced beef and handmade noodles!

I ordered the 'long xiu mian' which was really thin and fine.

Curry cutlet rice

Curry cutlet rice

The curry cutlet rice at sushi tei is a delicious treat you should order when you're at sushi tei on a budget! At just $10++, you get a large plate of rice, and a generous serving of fried chicken (or pork) cutlet with loads of curry gravy!

I liked how the curry had a indian twist to it, and it tasted fantastic with the nicely fried chicken cutlet! I also liked how the crispy batter coats the juicy flesh without tasting too oily.
