Masala art Smile Mar 22, 2012

Was out with my indian muslim friend for lunch and she recommended us to Masala Art for some north indian cuisine.

There was a lunch buffet going on, and prices were quite affordable.

The spread of dishes at the buffet were not alot, but they had a mixed of rice, pasta, naan, desserts, and multiple curries.

My favourite was their chicken dishes and curry! They also had tom yum soup. Decor was pretty nice too, great place to chill out and chit chat.

After an outing with my family to the movies at vivocity, we decided to have dinner but we were still in a dilema as to where to dine at until my brother suggested Marche!

It was my first time at Marche and there was a long queue forming at the entrance. We had to wait for about 15mins till we managed to get a seat, and i must say that i really like the decor and furnishings of the place!

I ordered their thin crust pizza, which was deliciously baked, and topped with some red onions, tomatoes, chicken chunks and cheese! The pizza was very light and i really enjoyed it.

It was time for some thirst quenching drink, and my boyfriend and i decided to get the honeydew sago drink from the sweet talk outlet at yew tee point!

This drink was quite interesting, and had coconut milk taste in it as well. I enjoy the texture of the sago together with the drink itself. Tasted almost like a dessert!

BBQ PIZZZA Smile Mar 20, 2012

The pizza hut outlet at AMK is rather out of the way and quite a distant away from the MRT station. However, the outlet here is pretty big and the staff here are nice and attentive.

My boyfriend and i were out on our usual date and we decided to order one of my favourites- the bbq chicken pizza!

I love the thick chunks of chicken toppings on the pizza and the slightly crispy crust at the bottom! I personally enjoy pan crusts more then their thin-crust counterparts and this pizza was a hit with the drizzle of bbq sauce on top, and its slighty crispy crust at the bottom, and soft dough in the middle!

My boyfriend and i had planned on having some fish and chips and since we managed to get a coupon (2 fish and chips for $10.90!), we decided to dine at the Manhattan Fish Market outlet at Marina Square.

I was pleasantly surprised with the portions of the meal- and it came with 2 big portions of delicious, batter-fried dory fillets, a large amount of fries and some veggies! We ordered a root beer float to go along with it and i loved it!

The fish and chips were really delicious- the fish fillet were thick, soft and juicy on the inside, with a crispy batter on the outside.
