As it was crowded at the hawker centre, i went for take away. I have a sudden craving for wanton noodle after i came across the pontian wanton noodle stall. I packed a serving of $4 and went back home to eat. I must say the ingredients are generous. They gave alot of Char Siew, wantons and dumplings. The noodle sauce is the star of the whole dish which brings out the taste and aroma. It is actually the sauce to marinate the char siew. Must try!!!!

Dessert at Sun with Moon Wheelock Smile Mar 20, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

After Dinner at Paragon, my girlfriend had a craving for green tea dessert. So i brought her to my favourite japanese restaurant located at Wheelock - Sun with Moon. They have one of the best varieties and quality of japanese food at an affordable price. I personally adores their green tea ice cream dessert. It costs around 10 bucks but the varieties of ingredients in the dessert is really good. It is really worth the money and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Must try and since then my gf feel in love with it too.

Dinner at Fish & Co Smile Mar 19, 2012

My girlfriend and i feel like eating seafood for dinner that night and naturally we visited Fish & Co. The place was flooded with people. We ordered a seafood platter to share. The serving just right for the 2 of us and it only costs us about SGD 25 per pax. I personally favour the butter rice that came with the platter. It is just right and not too oily and not forgetting calamari. Awesome smile

Dining at Royal China Raffles Hotel is a delight. The ambience in the restaurant is splendid. Very classy interior which you would not be able to notice from the outside. We have the set lunch menu which i forgotten how much exactly but it comprises of about 8 dishes for a table of 10. It costs about SGD 40 to 50 per pax which i feel it is very reasonable judging at the place we are having lunch and the quality we are getting. The star of the meal is none other than the dessert - custard cake. It is really awesome. It is not too sweet and the texture is soft and it just feels like it is melting in your mouth. Good place for team gathering.

Lunch at With A Pinch of Salt in Katong was a delight. located in the quiet corner of Katong, they sell very cheap and good pastas and western food. We order a softshell crab pasta and the squid ink pasta plus a caesar salad to share. It only cost us about SGD 20 per head with taxes. The serving for the pasta is good and the taste is great. I would say it is money well spent. recommended to give it a try
