Fish soup lunch at AMK Cry Mar 26, 2012
Categories : Food Court | Chinese Soup

The fish soup tasted normal. nothing fantastic about it. I order the slice fish soup with rice and it cost me $4.50 with the rice. The soup is rather bland and fragrance is not really there. Most importantly the ingredients is quite little only about 6 to 7 pieces of slice fish. not really worth the money. Can do without it

Sinful meal at Market Street  Smile Mar 26, 2012

Had a sinful lunch last Friday at Market street, raffles place. This is one of the best Briyani i have tasted. Looking at the queue everyday during lunch time, you will know i am not kidding. it took me about 20 mins of queuing before it is my turn. I took away as it is crowded and i cant find seats. the serving is very generous with a huge piece of quarter chicken and a big portion of briyani rice with pickles and curry. It only cost me $4.50. definitely must try. a word of caution - not to have it too often (health reasons)

Red Mango at MBFC Smile Mar 26, 2012

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

After lunch last Monday, we visited Red Mango for dessert. I ordered my standard yoghurt combo. It has mango, cereal, oats and most importantly yoghurt. It has quite a good spread of flavours and ingredients. However, the price is rather steep at $5. i like Red mango because it is not too sweet and have a refreshing after taste and they are quite generous in their serving.

Takeaway mixed vegetable rice from Hougang coffeeshop. Chose 3 dishes - one meat and 2 vegetables, it costs me about $3. The price is market standard but the serving of the dishes they gave is good. Comparing with other coffee shop that only give you a few pieces of meat and small scoops of veg. The meat is well cooked and the veg is nice and soft. My favourite is the tomato eggs. satisfying meal at a low cost

Dinner at Sushi Tei china Square Smile Mar 26, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

Went for a good dinner at Sushi Tei after work on Friday. We ordered quite a number of dishes. We shared some sushi and some side dishes to share. my personal favourite is the Unagi Sushi. It is quite pricey at $15 for 6. but the serving of unagi is huge and it is definitely worth it. actually the unagi dish is sufficient to fill my tummy. Please try it at any sushi tei.
