Polar Puffs & Cakes  (Raffles Place)

It was some time since I ate a pastry from Polar Puffs. The curry puff at Polar Puffs, located at Raffles Place Xchange was not so nice. The pastry was ok but the filling was not good, no meat at all. It just have the taste of curry. I would not recommend Curry puff, but not so sure about other pastries.

I had dinner with my husband at Asian Cuisine, located in Plaza Singapura, Basement 2. We ordered their Braise Meat Rice. It consists of 1 egg, the braise minced meat, tau pok, and some vegetable. The taste is ok but too salty, we need lots of water after that. We never go there again.

My husband and I went Bishan to catch a 7:30pm movie. After the movie was already close to 10pm, and we decided to get something food and drink. We went MOS Burger, which was quite crowded at that time. The burger (Ebi Rice burger) was served 10mins later and was really hot. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The Ebi was great. We also like their fries and Ice Milk Tea.

Today’s lunch was Nasi Lemak, located at Orchard Concorde Hotel And Shopping Mall (Juz Food Court). They have set meal at $3.80, so set 1 consists of a drumstick, egg, otak, and curry vegetable. For $3.80 it is consider a worth well deal. However, the drumstick was quite tough and the taste was just ok. May only come back for it after some time.

I went Ikea at Alexandra on a Saturday afternoon to look for a side table, and decided to have my lunch there in the Ikea Café. I ordered the poached salmon with potatoes and mixed vegetables. I don’t really like it as the salmon was quite tasteless, but it was a healthy dish.
