Appetising food on display! There are huge drumsticks, curry vegetables and meat for the picking. I ordered white rice with accompanying dishes such as sweet cabbage, tau kwa and crispy hash brown. It is very affordable, costing only $1.80. I was lucky to eat the food when it’s hot as I ordered when the food were just cooked. They also offer a variety of snacks such as roti john (theirs is a smaller version of hot dog bun coated with egg on the inside), curry puffs and other fried items.

Teppan combos! OK Mar 06, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Food Court | Japanese BBQ/Teppanyaki

This stall offers a variety of Teppanyaki food choices, served piping hot. The 2-in-1 Teppan Sliced Pork and Curry Chicken set comes with a bowl of rice and soup. The onions and black pepper sauce do justice to the sliced pork, but I wouldn’t say the same for the curry on the chicken, which tastes neither like spicy Indian curry nor sweet Japanese curry. A spoonful of meat, a spoonful of rice and a spoonful of soup make up a satisfying routine to savour this dish. It is oily and a little over-priced though.

This bugis outlet is their first of many outlets to come! Located within Bugis Junction, the place attracted many people when it first opened, and it's still doing so.

Visited the outlet with 3 other friends so we ordered the peri platter for me. In my opinion, it's not worth it as we can only choose 4 sidelines, compared to the set meal which allowed us to choose 2 sidelines each. We also ordered the peri hummus and novo pita! Warm bread dipped in unique sauce. Worth trying!

And of course when you're having so much chicken, I recommend ordering an iced chocolate as well! Very sweet and pleasing!

Butterfly buns Smile Dec 31, 2010

You definitely can't miss this stall! It's strategically located in front and there's a wide display of fried goodies!

My all-time favourite is the butterfly bun! Crispy sesame seeds atop a fluffy pastry! And I spotted a new item! Coffee salted pastry! Usually I eat the plain salted ones, but decided to try this new version. The coffee flavour is aromatic and goes well with the salty skin. Try their beancurd as well! Smooth and sweet! Definitely a great way to complement with the fried goodies!

Was around the vicinity so decided to buy some bread for tea-time. I've tried many types of bread from here, but there's always new bread to try for every visit.

Bought the planta loaf and yam bread ($1.50 each). The planta loaf comes in 4 different colours of bread that were pretty to look at. Great for kids for breakfast. Cream is spread inside each loaf and there are different flavours, chocolate being my favourite. The yam bread, though looks simple, has ample yam filling inside. Tasty sunflower seeds on top and great for dipping in coffee.
