All the munchies! OK Mar 08, 2011

I love their fried items! Ordered the Gyoza and drizzled it with chilli. The crust ought to taste thin and crispy, but instead, it had the crunchiness similar to biscuits. Little meat and chives fillings inside. I guess I bought it at the wrong time, or at the wrong outlet.

As this is still a new outlet at Clementi Mall, they currently do not offer cashless payment methods.

They claim that their QQ Rice are high in calcium and fiber, aid in stronger bones, and low in fat and cholesterol; basically it's a healthy meal. Rice that could be eaten in a different way, you got to try it!

There's more than 20 varieties of rice rolls to choose from, or customize your own rice roll with your favourite fillings. The types of rice to choose from for the rice roll are: Mixed Grain Rice, Red Rice, Purple Rice, Brown Rice and Wheat Germ Brown Rice.

I ordered the Purple Rice and Mixed Grain Rice with fillings such as ngoh hiang, pork floss, minced meat and ham. There wasn't a distinct taste and it feels like I'm eating rice with side dishes, just that it's all squashed into a packed roll. The taste could be better if specialty sauces were provided. Prices are costly too. Have a go at it, you may like its taste and the best part is: it's healthy.

Bigger portions, please OK Mar 07, 2011

I love eating Japanese bentos as I get to eat at least 2 different food items with rice, soup and fruit. So I ordered the Salmon & Takoyaki Bento. At $5.90, I do not think that this bento is value-for-money. The salmon was served in a small portion size and meat was thin. Sauce was not bad though. The takoyaki balls were chewy but I wished they had a specialty sauce to go with them. This set could be presented better by offering fruits instead of the pickled veggies.

Ebi Curry Smile Mar 07, 2011

I love prawns, especially fried prawns, so I ordered the Ebi Curry Set as it was also selling at a promotional price of $5, a $1 discount off the usual price. Takeaway costs 20 cents more. The stall owner was considerate to pack the fried ebi separately from the curry rice. Therefore when I take a bite of the ebi, it was still crispy. The curry carrots, onions and potatoes were soft and went really well with the rice. The meal would be perfect if there was some dessert to go with it.

BBQ buffet OK Mar 07, 2011

Categories : American | Restaurant | Buffet

Located in a convenient location at Suntec City Mall, The Terrace offers BBQ buffet at an outdoor dining setting. This buffet is only available on Friday, Saturday and eve of public holidays. To start off, grab a plate and pile food items such as steak, chicken, baby back ribs, sausages and seafood onto it. Then, pass the plate and table number clip to the chef who will barbeque them for you. After that, just wait at your seat and the waiters will serve the food to you. Not much food items to choose from but the buffet comes with free flow of juices such as fruit punch, orange and cranberry; and desserts such as cut fruits and a variety of kueh. The Terrace is worth visiting for an outdoor BBQ experience with friends!
