There was already a long queue when we reached the restaurant. To my disappointment, I saw some empty tables and also some tables whom the customer had left the restaurant but no staff are doing anything on leading the waiting customers in (Only after they waited for a long time) or clear the tables to allow more customers to come in.

Not a lot of choices during that time but still acceptable.

Some Nachos or nuts to go along with the salads.

As I had eaten a few times at this place, I can see that there is a lot of nice salads not provided today and I am having my second disappointment. Though disappointed, I am still ok to make do with the available salad provided.

The only dish that we ordered which comes with complimentary salads buffet too. The Salmon is a bit too dry though so still not a bad dish to have consider we are aiming for healthy food.

Front view from ground floor of the entrance to the restaurant. No lift for wheelchair bounded people so only suitable for those who can walk up the stairs.

As we walked into the restaurant, we felt this is one high class type of Japanese dining as it feel so authentic with very comfortable lighting that shine onto the wooden tables, chairs and wooden floor. The whole concept is great for having a relaxing meal over here but pricing will sure be on the high side. (This is what we called value for the $$)

The staff who attended to us since we entered the restaurant is very friendly and attentive though they do not allow me to change to a more spacious table when requested but instead, they are able to counter offer us by saying they will not serve the dishes very fast to suit our table space. For that, I felt quite happy with their service as they knows how to reject customer request in a nice way.
Sashimi(5 Kinds) @$42

Sashimi(5 Kinds) @$42

Sashimi (5 Kinds) @ $42 (2 slices each) / $63 (3 slices each). Sashimi includes Tuna Belly (Otoro), Salmon, Sweet shrimp, yellow tail and scallop. The quality of the sashimi is great. Sashimi are cut at the same size and placed nicely on top of crashed ice. Most importantly, they taste very fresh.
Mentai Salmon Takana Roll @ $18.80

Mentai Salmon Takana Roll @ $18.80

These are one of the special sushi roll listed in the menu and I wanna try it since I never seen anything like these before. The ingredients consist of Spicy seasoned cod roe, sweet omelette (Egg), cucumber and salmon wrapped with Japanese preserved mustard leaf. There is some green taste but it was nice overall taste with sweet omelette and crunchy cucumber on it. Need to eat the whole of the sushi to enjoy the different ingredient being exploded inside your mouth.
Goma Salmon @ $15.80 – Sliced salmon sashimi served with special soya sauce dip and soft boiled egg

Goma Salmon @ $15.80 – Sliced salmon sashimi served with special soya sauce dip and soft boiled egg

Even though the salmon sashimi is quite thin, they actually added some sesame (plus sesame sauce) on it making the sashimi very nice smelling and taste nice. The half boiled egg are mixed with their special soya sauce which you can dip the salmon sashimi onto it before putting it into your mouth. The taste, sweet and refreshing taste where I had never really tasted before. I would highly recommend this dish if you eat over at this restaurant. (Do try out the Hamachi aka yellow tail version too @ $17.80)
Mozzarella & Bacon Caesar Salad @ $12.00 – Fresh mozzarella and flame seared thick cut beacon with romaine lettuce and tomatoes

Mozzarella & Bacon Caesar Salad @ $12.00 – Fresh mozzarella and flame seared thick cut beacon with romaine lettuce and tomatoes

To me, this is a nice dish with juicy beacon mixed together with a special Caesar sauce but not really good for those who are health conscious due to the salty and fatty meat of the beacon.
Foie Gras Lettuce @ $14.00 – Canape of foie gras grilled in teriyaki sauce to a delicate crisp

Foie Gras Lettuce @ $14.00 – Canape of foie gras grilled in teriyaki sauce to a delicate crisp

This is one nice but expensive dish. Popular foie gras (aka goose liver) are being marinated with teriyaki sauce before preparing and served it onto a crispy thin slice of bread. Need to eat it all in with one mouth full to enjoy the full delicious taste of this dish.
Shiokoji Moriawase @ $15.80

Shiokoji Moriawase @ $15.80

Shiokoji marinated meat platter includes Berkshire pork belly, tender chicken and salmon. I think the meat are a bit hard to bite on and would not really order this dish again as I think there are better ones in the menu to choose from.

Lightly grilled Golden eye snapper fillet slices with spicy seasoned cod roe served with green tea bonito soup. To me, it is more like a Japanese version of the Hakka Lei Cha as you need to pour the tea based soup over the rice before eating it as a whole. Taste is sweeter than normal Hakka Lei Cha but still not to my liking as I do not really like to eat Hakka Lei Cha too. Good for anyone who wish to eat healthy though.

The Crystal Jade restaurant is located near to Holland food center and there are 2 levels in total for customer to have their meals at the restaurant. The restaurant is quite crowded and there are not much walking space for customer to walk around to get their sauce (Which is placed at one corner of the restaurant) or to go to the washroom.

As this is a steamboat buffet, the kitchen provide only those cooked dishes like La Main and etc which is not included in the buffet menu. Anyway, a look at the menu shows that they served quite a lot of variety of steamboat items which shows why there are so many people having their meals over there.

The prawns are big and fresh but too bad, they are just one time serving of 2 stick per customer.

This is really sago with coconut milk type of dessert. There is a strong coconut taste and if you do not like coconut taste, you can forgo this dessert totally. I actually thought there are at least some fruits like melon and etc to enhance the overall taste.

Paris Baguette Cafe is located at level 2 of Wisma Atria at one end of the building next to Isetan Shopping Center. There are a lot of people queuing up for their meals when we are there but strangely only 1 side of the counter is having long queue where the other side is like not much people at all. After some looking around, I understand that one side is selling main course / desserts (Not much people queuing) and the other is selling their pastries / desserts (long queue)

One thing not bad about this restaurant is that the staff clearing the tables are actually quite fast and it enables new customer to sit down without having a messy table in front of them. Their tables and seats are actually quite comfortable which is best for relaxing while having their dessert type of feeling but one problem comes, it also made some people over there buying 1 small dessert and stay there for a long time too.

Their cakes which looks nice and yummy

Their signature milk pudding with different flavors
The Perfect New York Cheesecake @ $8.00

The Perfect New York Cheesecake @ $8.00

The Cheesecake is nicely done and soft with a nice smell of cheese. It is wrap with a piece of plastic warp around it to make it look fresh and nice. It is great to be shared by 2 person as we had problem finishing it mainly because the taste is too strong for us to eat it.
Oh~ My Baby Crepe~ @ $8.00

Oh~ My Baby Crepe~ @ $8.00

I loves crepe cakes and immediately wanted to get it when I saw it selling at this restaurant. But to my disappointment, it is not as good as what I have eaten during my Malaysia trip. The crepe cake shape is immediately destroyed when you tried to slice the cake with a fork and there is too much sponge cake within the crepe which made the overall taste not appealing to me.

Royal Pudding (Original @ $4.00, Mango @ $4.50 and White Coffee @ $4.50)

I ordered one flavor of each Royal Pudding. To me, all flavor are nice and creamy. Perfect for me but I like original best since you can taste more of the creamy milk. If you are creative enough, you can use those empty bottles for some creative stuff too as it is small and cute.
Mushroom Foccacia @ $2.90

Mushroom Foccacia @ $2.90

This pastry or bread is actually quite cold when it is put on my tray (They never heat it up or at least warm it). When you bite on it, it is quite hard to bite on since it is quite cold (it is an air-conditioned restaurant).
Cheese Omelette With A Difference @ $18.00

Cheese Omelette With A Difference @ $18.00

There is a strong smell of cheese within the omelette mixed together with some leafs/vegetables which is very nice and yummy. The omelette is about 80% cooked as when you cut open it, you are able to see some watery feel of the egg within. The omelette is served together with potato wedges and some garden salad.

There are quite a queue during the time we went there but was actually able to be allocated with a table by the staff without much waiting. The staff over at this restaurant is quite friendly though it is quite difficult to get their attention to take order or to request for things.

Environment wise, this restaurant is designed to be at level 2 of the old Jurong Point wings next to the walkway and courts is just opposite the restaurant. Tables between each other are actually not very spaced apart as they tried to make use of all the available space to accommodate more customer eating there. If the restaurant is not full, it should be quite nice and relaxing to eat in this restaurant but if it is very fully seated, you might find that the restaurant will become quite noisy as other people are very near to your table.

The restaurant concept is using open air style which include open view of their kitchen where you can see their chef cooking up the nice dishes for the customers. Overall, it gives us a nice comfortable environment to enjoy our meals together.
Vongole – White Wine Sauce @ $12.50

Vongole – White Wine Sauce @ $12.50

This is one of the better pasta I will always order when I am eating at Ambush, The pasta is using fusilli mixed together with sauteed fresh white Clams and white wine sauce. Pasta is nicely cooked and you get to taste the freshness of the clam without the alcohol of the white wine.
Mini Sausage Platter @ $8.80

Mini Sausage Platter @ $8.80

Fat and juicy mini Chicken Cheese and French Chicken Garlic Sausages are being nicely grilled and served with mustard and Brown Sauce. I like the taste of the Chicken Cheese Sausages as you are able to feel a bit of cheese flowing out when you give it a bite.
German Style Potato Pan Cake (Rosti) @ $6.80

German Style Potato Pan Cake (Rosti) @ $6.80

Though the overall taste of this Rosti is great but I would still prefer the popular Rosti from Marché. The dish comes with a small portion of sour cream for you to eat with the Rosti.
