New York Cheese Cake Cry Apr 25, 2012
Categories : Bakery

This new york cheese cake looks like the usual cheese cake and the taste is also equally the same like it's appearance. The cheese cake is really compact and not too sweet. The Strawberry jams topped on it is abit diluted and not much strawberry fruits in it. Really don't like the biscuit base of it as it is not crispy and taste abit old. I believe other range of sliced cakes at Bakerzin may taste better than this. Definitely not my ideal cheese cake.

Mango Yogurt Stick Cry Apr 13, 2012

Categories : Italian | European | Ice Cream and Gelato | Buffet

New in Singapore and my first time seeing the gelato in an ice-cream stick. This gelato is quite good for health as their sorbets are made with the fructose instead of sugar sucrose. Only one hundred percent natural and genuine ingredients are use to produce their gelato. Tried their mango gelato and was not really impress as the gelato taste quite bland and the mango flavour is not strong at all. The gelato stick is quite small and expensive. At five dollar and fifty cents per stick, it can actually enable us to purchase a nice meal from foodcourt or fast food restaurant.

Baos @ Din Tai Fung Cry Apr 12, 2012
Categories : Dim Sum

Baos at Din Tai Fung may taste quite a disaster. The baos are usually sell in pairs and many ranges are available for sales such as the red bean, yam, mixed vegetables, small pork meat bun, black sesame bun and etc. However even though there are so many choices to select, but I do not think there are any of it that suit my taste bud. Firstly the bun skin is really tough and chewy. The fillings inside are really sweet irregardless on which types of fillings. The price is abit high and I am really upset with the standard of their baos which is not as good as their other dishes.

Soup & bun Cry Apr 12, 2012
Categories : Singaporean | Bakery | Café

Other than their usual wide range of signature cakes at Secret Recipe, I am quite upset with the food standard of their cooked foods. Happen to have a dinner with my girl friend and have tried their brocolli soup with bun before we have their main course and desserts. The soup portion was really little and the soup is quite diluted and tasteless. Not much brocolli can be found in the soup and in less than 10 spoonfuls, you will be able to complete the soup. Moreover the mini bun serve with the soup is also not up to standard. The bun is quite hard and the taste is quite bland. As there are no fruit jam or butter to spread on it, it even make this bun meaningless to eat with the soup.

Breakfast @ Breeks Cry Apr 11, 2012
Categories : High Tea | Halal | Kids-Friendly

The large slice of ham served during their breakfast hours is quite tough and abit tasteless. Moreover, it almost like taking them years to prepare and serve the food. Although I have only ordered a simple ham and egg set, it almost took them more than twenty minutes to serve you the foods. Worst part is the long wait does not justify at all after had a 'just alright' breakfast. May not be considering coming here for my next breakfast gathering with my family.
