White Chocolate Frappacino Smile Dec 16, 2013

This Starbucks outlet at Jem definitely has a very nice cosy environment and is very spacious. As I was in a rush to another place, I did not have my drink in the restaurant. Have buy back the White Chocolate Frappacino with whip cream here which in less than ten minutes my drink is ready to pick up. Service here is very friendly and fast. For the price of $6.90, is consider quite worth it. White chocolate is really fragrant and texture of the drink is thick as well. Would have been better if not too sweet. The added whip cream make it even more fragrant as well.

Delicious Thai Dishes Smile Dec 16, 2013

Visited this Thai Restaurant with my friend and was really impressed by the delicious dishes prepared by the chef here. Fried Tofu with Thai Chilli sauce ($8) looks really simple but the taste was really good! Tofu is very soft and smooth inside, and the outer layer is very crispy and totally not oily. Not salty and really suitable to dip in the thai chilli sauce which is very appetizing. Stir fried glass noodles with seafood ($8) has really generous portion and the glass noodles are very smooth and easy to chew. Lots of fresh chewy sotong and crunchy prawns make this dish very fragrant and delicious. Restaurant is quite spacious and waitress here are friendly too.

Yong Tau Foo Smile Dec 16, 2013   (Related Review)

For the price of $3.50 per bowl, I get to choose six yong tau foo items with rice noodles. Consider quite affordable as the portion is generous too. Especially enjoy the big soya beans added in the soup which make it more tasty and filling. Like their bean curds a lot as they are very soft and fresh. Green cabbages are very crunchy and fresh as well. Service by the uncle here is friendly and fast. Dining environment is clean and cooling too.

Had this famous fried oysters for the first time and immediately fell in love to it. For the price of $8 per large serving, this local delight certainly looks generous in portion and visually looks good too. Lots of fresh huge oysters can be found inside and the egg omelette is delicious and not too oily. The chilli sauce is very appetizing and full of the sour and chilli fragrant. Service was friendly and the shop is clean and neat.

Deep fried Katsu Smile Dec 16, 2013

Having a big feast with my fellow colleagues in this posh Japanese restaurant at Orchard. Restaurant is super spacious and cooling. Service is friendly and helpful. Have bought the deep fried katsu set, which is the pork meat is very juicy and tender. The outer crust is very crunchy and not too oily. Meat is super thick in texture but is totally not tough. Rice is fragrant and portion is generous. Cabbage is also very fresh and crunchy. Super filling and value for money.
