My wife & I went to Komala Vilas for lunch, few days back, The ambience is casual & simpIe. The place was crowded when we went there at around 2 PM. I ordered for a masala dosa. It arrived in 3-4 minutes. The dosa was crisp & tasty. The potato filling was nice, spicy & tasty. 2 chutneys & a sambhar were served along with the dosa. The white chutney was really tasty and added to the taste of the dosa.

I happened to pass by Kopi Alley yesterday, so decided to stop there for a coffee. I ordered for a coffee & took a seat, there were quite a few people sitting and enjoying their kopi/tea there. I sipped the coffee and enjoyed it. It was strong, had less milk & the right amount of sugar. coffee was served in lovely colourful/printed tea cups.

Loved my coffee at Kopi Alley

On thw weekend we ended up at KFC for dinner. It was almost closing time, so we hurried and placed our order. We ordered for a Double down meal, plus a fish doughnut snack box with root beer & mountain dew for drinks.

Loved the double down, it has a yummy ham & cheese filling. The chicken was crispy. The fish doughnuts were a bit hard & cold, the fries were great as always. Overall nice meal, only wish the meal was served hot. Lesson learnt, never to visit KFC when they are nearing closing time.

I was in Little India, so I went to Ananda Bhavan for a cup to tea. i ordered for a samosa & a masala chai. The samosa was served hot, it was a potato samosa like any other, but was nice and crisp & fresh too. The masala tea was steaming hot & had a lovely masala aroma.
Enjoyed my evening tea that evening.

Tasty Indian Food Smile May 08, 2012

Over the weekend, We decided to go to Little India for dinner,as we were in the mood for Indian dinner. We normally use to frequent The Delhi restaurant on Syed Alawi road since its centrally located, but this time we decided to go to the branch at race course road. It was quite a walk, but it was worth it. The ambience was really nice. I loved the entrance. It was a massive & fancy door, that was really impressive.

Once we got in, we were guided to a table & handed the menu by the friendly staff. We browsed through and ordered a Chicken Pudina and some naan. The chicken pudina was so tasty. It was spicy and had a lovely mint flavour. The naans too were soft and tasty. We finally ended our dinner with some malai kulfi, which was really yummy, it was smooth, creamy & yummy.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Delhi restaurant & always do.
