I was hungry one eveing & I was passing by the Little Red shop, I saw their tau sar piahs on sale. They were for just 1 $, so I asked for a lotus piah. It is pretty similar to moon cakes, but the crust is more crispy like a puff. The crust was crispy & salty too. where as moon cakes are more like a biscuit from outside. Inside it is similar to moon cakes, it had a nice, sweet lotus filling. It was a perfect sweet snack that I enjoyed.

My wife & I recently went to Delhi Restaurant for dinner & we ordered for our favourite mix grill Sizzler, which we are fans of at Delhi Restaurant. Its a mixture of meats, seafood, eggs & some vegetables. It had chicken, mutton, beef, egg, prawn, fish & some veggies cooked in some spicy red spices. It is served on a sizzler dish, that makes all heads in the restaurant turn to watch smile. The 1/2 mix sizzler is awesome & is a hearty meal for 2 people.

Delicious dinner Smile Jul 29, 2012

One of our friends recommended that we should try the food at Fifth season, so we decided to go there for dinner one evening. We ordered for Coriander chicken & noodles & rice (combo of noodles & fried rice in 1 dish). The chicken was well cooked, spicy & had a splendid aroma of coriander. It was a dry dish. We then had the noodles, it did not have many spices in it, yet it tasted great. The only downside -- Dishes are slightly over priced & the portions are not that big.

One Saturday, we decided to go to Bugis mall, just for shopping and dining. We started with Lunch. We ordered for quesadillas, Zinger lunch box, cheesy fries & mountain dew. The quesadillas were yummy, cheesy, with pieces of chicken in it. The Zinger was nice, spicy, fresh & the chicken was well cooked. We enjoyed it with the cheesy fries & mountain dew. It was a hearty and scrumptions meal and value for money !!!

Yummy rice cakes (idlis) Smile May 22, 2012

We went to Murugan Idli shop recently. Wow I simply Love that place for the food. The ambience is very simple & nothing fancy. I had got alot of reviews about the idlis (south Indian savoury rice cake) there, so we ordered for Idlis. The Murugan Idlies are the BEST in town. So soft & spongy, they just melt in the mouth. The idlis are served hot with about 5 different chutneys & all chutneys are yummy. We enjoyed some coffee after we finished the idlis, coffee was strong & tasty too. I feasted on Idlis that day smile
