I work in raffles place & one evening on my way home from work, I brought home some satay. about 10 sticks of Satay costing 6 $.. I picked some chicken & beef. The flavors of all were almost the same, we dipped it in peanut sauce & ate., Satay is normally marinaded with a sweetish peanut sauce, so tends to taste a little sweet. I loved the chicken the most, beef too was nice. Both chicken & beef were quite well cooked. I love Satay from Lau Pa Sat

I was craving for something sweet for my evening snack & spotted these little pastries at Swiss Bake for 1 $ each. So I picked up a guava & a custard pastry. The guava one had some pulpy paste on it & was nice & soft. It was fresh & sweet. The custard pastry was nice as well. The pastry had custard in the center & was perfectly soft & sweet.I enjoyed the guava pastry more, since I love Guava fruit. both the sweet treats were awesome.

It was time for a snack in the evening, since I was out in the heat all day. SO I went to toast box & ordered for a Bundung with pearls costing about 2.1 $. It had loads of ice in it,it was chilled, really sweet & very refreshing,especially since it was a hot day in Singapore. The 2 favourites of mine from toastbox are Bandung & iced/hot milo.

I was hungry one evening & to just pick up a snack I went to Old Chang Kee & picked up a curry puff. I love Old Chang Kee curry puffs the most as compared to other curry puffs available in Singapore. They are crispy & crunchy from the outside & have an amazing potato filling inside. They are always served hot. Every bite is so delicious that I end up buying another one,once I finish 1. I love the mushroom & chicken puff from Old Chang Kee too.

One saturday, my wife & I went for lunch to Nando's. We ordered for 2 1/4 chickens with 2 sides. For sides we ordered for a spiced rice, peri fries, mediterranean rice, & 3 bean salad. The chicken, we ordered-1 hot & the other medium spicy. Both tasted great, they were so well done & were tender & juicy. All sides were great as well. I din't like the mediterranean rice so much. I loved the peri firs sprinked with some peri spice mix.

Overall we loved Nando's & the lunch there.
