Strictly Pastry  (Joo Chiat)

It is our first trial at strictly pastry. carpark is tough to locate as its at joo chiat.
The place gives a very oldies feeling with oldies song playing in the background.
What is lacking is a nice cuppa of latte or capo to pair with the lovely cakes available.
My pick during this visit is the badger, rich in choc and tastefully soft.
So it is more of a take away or if you want a yumz and special birthday cake, this place is the option.

Found this roti prata place located at coffee shop along sin ming road hidden at a corner.
Indeed the roti coin is too good on its own and by topping it with the fish curry, it will bring up the savoury taste even better.
Found another nice way of eating the roti coin is by dipping it with the halfboiled egg ordered from the coffee shop drink stall. Traditional and yet innovative but be warned as it may not be to everyone's liking!

It was our first time to bedrock and I must agree with the many reviews we have read, the beef is superbly grilled, especially the bedrock pepper steak.
To top it, make a 630pm reservation and be early for the one for one drink at the alfresco.
they served nice red and white house wine that is worth the money and bring out the taste of the grilled beef well, making the dinner an excellent one.

Our 1st time at teppei after 5 mths of reservation Smile Feb 19, 2014

This is our 1st time at teppei. Its reservation timeline tells everything. It is indeed better than a Chinese 8 course dining and feels like fine dining we ordered the $80 set meal and after the almost 2 hours meal that started fr 840pm, ended at 1130pm. We were full to the brim.
Will definitely back again and it is a must go but u do not need to be too dress up as the shop air-con is not working well.
