Hor Fun Cry Jul 13, 2013

This zi char stall... has a eye catching, appetizing pictures of their food. The name of the stall (HILLTOP) sounds appealing to customers too. But when I ate their Hor Fun - $3.50, I found it oily and their kway teow has a burnt taste! It was very unpleasant so I poured away the gravy... then it tasted alright smile In the hor fun there are: prawns, slices of meat, fish cakes and vegetable. But there wasn't any egg much to my disappointment. They are not very good at horfun, you might want to try their other menu dishes though bowl

Hot & Spicy  Smile Jul 13, 2013

KFC is well-known for their fried chicken in Singapore! I like their hot & spicy recipe, the chicken skin were fried till it's really crispy and goes very well with the chili sauce. As for the chicken meat... it was moist, tender, crunchy and juicy! Although the chickens are seasoned with spices, but I still prefer to dip the chili sauce for extra spiciness! Definitely so good! tongue

McChicken  Smile Jul 13, 2013

McChicken burger to me is a large version of McChicken Nuggets!
A piece of chicken which tasted like McNuggets, deliciously covered with sesame steamed bun and the generous amount of cabbage inside. The cabbage gives a crunchy and refreshing taste. Not forgetting the sweet mayonnaise sauce on top of the chicken as well, it does make a enjoyable burger for supper.

Spending per head: Approximately $2

Teochew Restaurant Smile Jul 13, 2013

This teochew cuisine restaurant serves authentic teochew cuisine! a great place for family gathering. A quiet restaurant with 2 levels, it is located in a neighborhood area with ample parking outside the restaurant. There is a take-away station as well.

The Fish porridge was light and a lot of soup, a bit of seaweed and spring onions. The sauce for the porridge is really good! The fish slices are thick enough.

This is a Platter of braised duck, pig intestines and pork meat. The duck was thinly sliced, not oily full of flavors. The pig intestines were nicely braised with no weird taste. The pork meat was fatty enough and succulent.

LOVE IT! bowl

MILO THICK TOAST OK Jul 13, 2013

FREE MILO THICK TOAST from TOAST BOX

When I bought a pack of Milo from Fairprice and saw the on-pack sticker, went to redeem it! I had never try this Milo Toast ($1.80) before. It is a piece of thick toast covered with Nutella chocolate, milo powder and condensed milk ! Such a sweet combination isn't it? But I think it tasted ordinary, nothing special about it.
