I was there on a Saturday morning.
A rather nice place to chill at Dhoby Ghaut, but let me warn you, the service attitude of their staff is bad.
Food wise it was average.I had the Eggs Benny set at $13++
Generally okay for the price and taste.
You can choose between ham, bacon or mushrooms.
I chose the ham.

Regarding the bad service, firstly, when we entered, the female staff already look unfriendly.
Next, there was a hair in my friend's food.
So we kindly asked her to change a new one. She took the plate and did not apologize.
Well, never mind.
She looked as though she was going to beat us up man!

Anyway the waiting time of food was really long.
Food was just average, marred with the attitude problem of their staff.
All in all, I didn't have a very pleasant meal.

It was my first visit here.
If it wasn't for my e-voucher, I probably wouldn't have entered this place.
To be frank I've never heard of this place before, however, it seems like DXE is popular because there was a long queue at the Vivo outlet!
Service wise, it was really good - we didn't wait very long for our seats.
Furthermore, the young staff inside were rather pleasant.
We ordered a few dishes, enough for 5 people - all in SMALL portion.
Managed to clear everything in the end!
Total bill was around $120 - to me it was expensive, given the amount of food, and the quality.

Only main highlight was the herbal roasted duck.
Other than that, nothing to rave about.

Been hearing and seeing so many blogs talking about Riders' Cafe.
Since I kept talking about it, my bf decided to bring me there
Reserved a seating at around 11.30am - it's good to book for reservations, but it wasn't as crowded as I thought.
Just to let you know, there's no air con.
And, occasionally you'll get to enjoy the smell of dungs. (I smelled it the moment I got off the car, and while I was eating, there was a time when the smell was pretty strong *puke*)

I highly recommend this smoothie - felt like I was drinking some health potion which immediately got me going "OOOH"
according to the menu, it consists of orange juice, banana, berries, yoghurt and honey.

I think this place is good to go once in a while for the experience.

I had one of the best dinner yesterday at Sushi Tei.
Maybe I was too hungry
But, the sushi there were rather delish! Fresh and good.
It could also be because we made the right choices Look at the sushi platter!
I especially love the tuna sushi.

I love the fried oyster hidden in the roll + the sauce on top.

In case you havent heard of it, this is a place for you to make pancakes - in your way.
It touts itself as the FIRST DIY pancake place.
The DIY pancake making I got was the $28 set.
It comes with 2 flavours of batter + 3 toppings.
Mind you, the toppings are really SMALL.
Judge for yourself.
Our toppings were caramelized apple (3 pieces erhem), strawberries (2 cut into halves) and blueberries.

By the way, the initial waiting time for the pancake to cook was really long.
Until my bf turned the heat up -_-
We also ordered the strawberry milkshake, but it tasted like a bad mixture of strawberry syrup

Note that the waiting time was atrocious, we sat there waiting for probably 15 minutes before our batter arrived.
Also service could have improved
