HOT WEATHER, ICE CREAM OK May 18, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen

Humid weather, decided to go eat Ice cream before going to collect my ticket at Openrice...

The ice cream was particularly delicious and i couldn't stop filling it in my mouth maybe because of the weather...

Actually they also serve a wide variety of delectable Japanese desserts so don't expect high quality Japanese food here...The restaurant is just a well oiled franchise with standardised offerings catered to the mass market... smile

Western X Japanese OK May 18, 2013

Tomato Omu --> It goes very well with the rice and eggs...The tomato cream sauce was savory and tasty.

Double Pancake (Mapple) --> Souffle style, was indeed fluffy and delicious

Fuwa Fuwa --> This looks really interesting, very fluffy and eggy and there's rice, cuttlefish and mushrooms underneath the fluffy cloud of egg...

Chocolate Fondant with Softee --> More elaborate classic with a tropical touch

Lobster Bisque Spaghetti --> Fresh seafood, tasted very well, with all ingredients mixed together

Vanilla Soffle --> Infectious sweet & savory soufflé of all time!

3 of my friends and I went to queue at this restaurant from 7pm on Sunday and waited until 8pm almost an hour before we were finally given seats...

Hoshino Coffee is somewhat like a Japanese Cafe/Restaurant/Deserts place to have nice coffee and deserts!!
We did not try the coffee as it was dinner time...

Short of the mark, Worth the try...

Recommended Dish(es):  Vanilla Soffle

Spending per head: Approximately $21(Dinner)

My Bestie was craving of Tiramisu cake so she get 1 it from Rive Gauche Patisserie...

Erm, The Tiramisu is bittersweet chocolate not overpowering sweet or creamy, Rive Gauche however did not deliver as much as I expected it to... smile

I see quite review saying their Strawberry shortcake is the popular, maybe i take a try when I'm at Takashimaya...

Donuts? Doughnut? OK May 14, 2013

One fine day, I & my Bestie went to Takashimaya for shopping and drop by to try some finger foods...madmad

We tried Sapporo Petit Donuts located at Takashimaya basement...
Flavored fillings – Chocolate, Sweet potato, Raspberry, Cream cheese, Caramel, Red bean, Custard...

We tried Strawberry Cream, Cheese & Caramel.. (8 for $4.80) *A bit of expensive*

They tasted more like a normal pancake, just shaped into a mini donuts though...The fillings were not too sweet, but were definitely creamy and provided both flavor and texture...What’s interesting is that these donuts are cooked in a smilar way like the Taiyaki, so they’re not fried and are definitely a healthy version to the convectional donuts...

Recommended Dish(es):  Strawberry Cream& Cheese

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Tea)

Is ladies gathering & wanted to try new restaurant at Woodland so we decided to drop by...

its $24++ and have 3 choices of meat (pork, beef & chicken) and many types of vegetables - mushrooms, leafy vegetables, etc....
Meats are free flow but you can't grab them yourselves over the counter, you have to tell the waitress to bring specific meat to you...
There are also quite a few choice of soup base and we get to choose two!! We tried the chicken & sesame soup...

Spending per head: Approximately $27(Dinner)
