While my loved one having the popular Fried Hokkien Mee, I'm ordering another store of popular Fried Kway Tiao...

This was definitely the healthiest fried kway teow...You got a full plate of fried kway teow, topped by juicy cockles and crisp, sweet beansprouts in it...A unique touch was the addition of chai poh (salted radish), which provided a salty and crunchy contrast...This was one fried kway teow that you can indulge in without feeling like you’ve swallowed a whole block of butter...

Kway teow with lots of vegetables but I wouldn’t mind returning if I were in the area...

Seafood Platter & Salmon Salad

We were thinking of what to eat and decided to settle at Empire State so we order Seafood Platter & Salmon Salad...

It's an affordable place with decent western food if you're not too fussed about quality - but definitely no where close to anything you can actually get in the vicinity of the Empire State Building...Good place to eat at Causeway Point though I wouldn't queue more than 5 minutes for this...

Spending per head: Approximately $12(Lunch)

Is this Prata?? OK May 08, 2013

Went to read review about the The Roti Prata House that their prata is crispy so we went for a try...

We order the plain, egg & chocolate Prata...

There's a sign that says 'Crispiest Roti Prata in Singapore' and I totally agree...Their prata was very nice, crispy & fragrant is totally like a Fried Prata...The curry gravy is very good as well but a bit diluted...

The place is crowded even on a weekday night so you could imagine the crowd in the weekend, Limited lot to park too...The service is prompt but the only thing is that you need to go to the counter to make payment...

I'm not sure The Pratas here is the one of the best in Singapore but can take it try if you haven't try it...

Recommended Dish(es):  Crispy Prata

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Supper)

After watching 《面对面》Just Noodles on Channel 8, we take it a try...

The first sign you look out for, is the sight of a long queue........waiting time, 20 to 30 mins!!

This stall of Char kway tiao very fragrant & one of the few stalls tat serves it on the "opeh leaf" (not sure how to spell but tats how it sounds) the leaf brings out the fragrance of the food...

However, for me this is not the best char kway teow that I have tasted...

This place had recently opened at IMM (Oh ya, I went to IMM but there's no IMM address) My loved one suggested that we have dinner here as is new store, I thought it'd be a good excuse to also see what was happening...haha!!

We didn't try the any appetizers though, I order the Kimchi Beef Hotpot & My loved one order the Miso Premium Seafood

This bowl of beef kimchi soup is served with a bowl of rice and the beef slices are served raw and you can slightly boil it or eat it raw depending on your preference...

Miso soup taste normal nothing special, had Fake abalone... tongue

Just don't be picky about the authenticity of the place, and you'll be fine...
