I've waited for at least half an hour for my plate of Hokkien Fried Mee out of curiosity...The taste was fairly okay but definitely nothing very fantastic about it...Well, perhaps the plus point here is that the stall does not use lard so their food is probably a healthier choice but that this reason is simply not strong enough to make me queue again...

There's no need for sambal, just some sliced chilies...

Super Expensive Nasi Lemak o.O Cry May 13, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Malay | Coffeeshop

A day we decided to take it a try on Punngol Nasi Lemak...

Had the chicken drumstick, egg, otah and sunny sideup...the food here was ordinary and nothing special and you can easily find a stall selling similar quality of food somewhere, The chilli was normal (at least to me), the rice given was pathetically small portion...

Don't understand the queues & over the prices...Think twice before you plan to come here, the food may fall below your expectation...

Not really worth the Korea BBQ Cry Apr 29, 2013

Categories : Korean | Korean BBQ

Tried this restaurant as I & my friend were hungry for Korean BBQ.

Totally stun when the dish is served, the portions were small and not well seasoned...The free buffet of cold dishes consisted of a few sad dishes of kimchi and vegetables...The offer of a set dinner for SGD20.80 PER PERSON was not a good deal as a la carte dishes were cheaper... Would not go back and would not recommend anyone to go...

Onion Ring + Cheese Fries + Drumlet

Onion Ring + Cheese Fries + Drumlet

Onion Ring, chicken wing + Fries --> Taste was alright
Baby Pork Ribs + Spring Chicken.

Baby Pork Ribs + Spring Chicken.

Baby Pork Ribs --> i've tried better ones, but this one was pretty good in the sense that the meat was tender and falling-off-the-bone type, i think the sauce could be improved on though!
Spring Chicken --> It must be fully cooked for consumption.

I came here with the Groupon deal, The ambiance of the place is fine, but then is a very disappointed day for me & my group of friends, celebrate birthday end up their service was damn piss off...huffy

After we sat down, We wanted to order end up have to waited around 20mins to served where there's not much customer till 1 of my friend went to their kitchen to call them, I'm not sure what those staff doing at their kitchen, Getting waiters' attention was an impossible task.huffy

Waiters doesn't give a smile when ordering, serving dish is like so messy just anyhow put those plate without saying "excuse me" & hurt 1 of my friend's hand, what's more not a single apology from them too...huffy

Overall, i only sincerely enjoyed the finger foods. It is unlikely we will be back...

Individual Pot OK Dec 18, 2014
Categories : Steamboat/Hot Pot

That's my 1st time going to Jpot...

Knowing there's a set menu
1) Menu D, $68 for 2 pax comprising of:-
(A) Soup (choice of 4 items) – We were each given our individual pots and we went with (clockwise, top left) fish head soup (additional $1), bak kut teh, JPOT superior broth and tom yum from the 9 flavours that were available. And all were pretty good although bak kut teh was not a very versatile soup base to be cooking ingredients like prawns as it altered its flavour.
(B) Spinach & mushroom

Food is not bad especially the minced meat on bamboo stick. after cooking, it taste juicy with the freshness of the ingredients, flavorful and its fun to do your own meatballs as you scrap ido into the pot from the bamboo holder...
