Finally a day, I and my colleague decided to try Char Grill...

The concept of Char-Grill Bar is strikingly similar to that of Botak Jones and Astons. They all serve western food at reasonably prices.

I ordered the recommended char-grilled chicken which costs only $6.90 inclusive of 2 free side dishes, decided to have Fries and baked potato with my chicken. The service was fast received my order within 15 minutes.

Topped with a thin layer of savory black pepper sauce, the specialty char-grilled chicken is fleshy and delectable, though the charred aroma could be more distinctive, the fries are tasty while the baked potato is fragrant and flavourful.

Long John Silver use to be my favourite since young.

Long John Silver is a low rate fast food joint that serves everything breaded and deep-fried in oil...They serve breaded fish, breaded shrimp, breaded chicken and breaded clams.

The food is pretty much exactly what I expect from a Long John Silvers...The fish is crisp but not super crisp, the flesh is tender. but somehow is the fish seem to have shrunk.

It was a pleasant experience at Charlie Brown cafe...Is a theme restaurant/cafe.

I and my cousin order the Charlie & Snoopy peanut crepe (it had vanilla, chocolate ice cream and orange sauce)

The plus point is that its really cute. Basically it's simply many layers of slightly saltish thin crepe with peanut butter, with chocolate ice cream...The peanut butter was too thick and spread unevenly inside the crepe.

We went to this dining place at Ngee Ann Polytechnic because our workplace is quite near.

This dish is indeed very interesting...I heard of Cereal Prawns, Cereal Crab! But, Cereal Fried Rice? That's something new, isn't it?

The fried rice mainly consists of rice, together with prawns, squid and egg...The fried rice is then topped with Cereal (Where's the rice??) I would say that the Fried Rice would be really normal without the cereal. It tastes like any other average fried rice that we would be able to get in the hawker centres. However, the cereal added a sweet taste to it, making it really special but after sometime, I'm not sure it's because of the Cereal or what, I started to feel very greasy of the taste.

The chill that is provided is more of that Thai Chilli Sauce with Lime...Another addition that makes the fried rice more flavorful...Spice always makes the dish a shoe lot better and appeal more to the taste buds, at least for me!

After work dining place as our work place near to Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

One of our favourite stall at Ngee Ann polytechnic, this dish is served with omelette with chicken and comes with rice and soup, all costing a very reasonable price of 3.50!

Of course, one can have a choice of oyster or prawn instead of chicken...
The omelette goes very well with the chicken, and it's what I usually order if I have dinner at their stall.
