Old-School Breakfast :) Smile Jun 22, 2013

With all-day breakfast restaurants sprouting all across Singapore, it is comforting to find a trusty Toast Box Café at Causeway point where I can cozy up with a local breakfast set of kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and tea, their coffee and Tea is decent...They also serve a whole variety of other local delights like toasts, curry chicken, laksa, mee siam, cakes and pastries and their prices reasonable.

I think I'm in love with their mushroom soups...

Their soup has a calories state in assuring that they are all nutritious and filling enough to satisfy even the hungriest of patron and dipped together with their complimentary soft bun into the soup...

Their sandwiches are alright and their Ice Lemon Tea, Not too sweet, giving me a refreshing feeling...A definite must try!!

老地方的Dim Sum Smile Jun 22, 2013

Family always go to this 老地方 having our dim sum...

A good place to choose if you have cravings for dim sum! It's also a very nice place for the whole family to come or having high tea with your friends, My family love the dim sum there but the only setback was the service was too slow...Probably its was slightly crowded that day & probably due to lack of service staff which explained why we had to wait very long for the cart to come over...

Everyone love their har gao, really fresh and the dumpling skin has a texture that's just right... Highly recommended!

Spending per head: Approximately $20(Breakfast)

This is my sister's favourite restaurant, when she need to eat sushi, this is it! Sakae Sushi smile

We have been to several outlets in Singapore and so far have always been satisfied with their food. We really enjoy having it very single time because the salmon and sushi is always fresh! Sakae Sushi really lives up to its name of serving the best quality food.

Always have a great day at Sakae Sushi. smile

Hidden Zi Char Smile Jun 20, 2013

Was recommend by my Bestie this place, thanks to him!! mad

It's noisy if you dine in because it's usually full house on weekends, very popular location for small and big family dinners...by the way, no reservations can be made on weekends...

I've tried a variety of the food and yes, they're all tasty!! Typical zi char style, but made very affordable...It's considered cheap compared to coffee shops zi char...

I love their Deep Fried Fish, definitely one of the highlights of the evening...Everyone seemed to love it! Perfectly fried with a crispy coating without drying out the flesh of the fish...
