Satay

Satay

Satay!!!! I love Satay!!! Who hate Satay?? No one lah. Satay from this stall is
Awesome. You can choose what type of meat you want - beef, mutton and chicken.
The satay is charcoal grilled and served with gravy and ketupat. Ketupat is a compressed
rice cooked in coconut leave. The gravy is yummy! You can taste the nuts in the gravy.

Alert: Be prepared to stand in the long queue.

Spending : 0.60cents per stick & 0.40 per piece

Can you believe it that you can actually get Hong Kong dessert in Singapore.
Xie Ji has assorted hot and cold dessert at affordable prices.
Quite small space with nice presentation and ambiance.
The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. If you don't know what to order, just ask
the staff for help. They will help you for sure.

I ordered Red bean glutinous rice balls soup with rose bud

I love the rice balls. They are soft and chewy with the red bean paste.
The soup is not too sweet which I like.
The rose buds are safe to be eaten as well. So, don't worry lah. lol

& Milk Pudding and Double Steamed Pear with Honey

Halal Hong Kong Dessert in Singapore

The milk pudding is very refreshing and not too sweet. It came with a
double Steamed Pear with Honey. I don't really like the pear because
I am not a fruit person. You have to drink the soup and after that scrape
out the flesh of the pear.

Spending: Less than 10SGD
Definitely will come back again.

Breakfast

Breakfast

Had a hearty breakfast at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I ordered Brek 'O' Day, served with
plain french toasts, chicken sausages, scrambled eggs, strawberry jam, butter and salad. Talking
about the salad. They served fresh lettuce topped with cherry tomatoes, cranberries and flake
almond. Yum! This breakfast served together with a cup of tea or coffee as a set. You can
refill your drinks (FOC) till 11.00am. Yes, no extra charges. Cosy ambiance and helpful staff.

Spending : Less $10.00

Streats Hong Kong Cafe is certified Halal and offers a wide variety of Hong Kong and Chinese
cuisine. They also have western cuisine for you to choose. Super friendly staff and helpful.
I prefer to jump into this cafe during the weekdays because weekends will be too crowded.

Here are my orders
American Set

It's a usual American breakfast. Nothing special. My younger cousin loves it.
Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice

Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice

O'lala... I love this one. The sweet and sour sauce is tasty, not too sweet and not too sour,
just nice. The chicken meats are tender. The sunny upside is nicely sitting on top of the
rice beautifully.smile
