Starbucks hojicha Smile Apr 16, 2013

Categories : American | Coffee

Starbucks Hojicha! somehow i am addicted to this drink and i don't know why too. I first try this is my school Singapore poly, with the maybank 1-for-1 promotion. Then i started to fall in love with it especially the hojicha hot tea latte. I realize even with the same formula, not all are able to make the same hojicha with the same taste. some tend to be more bitter than other. I particular like that layer of foam on top on the hojicha, which i think requires so skill to make it and so far, i think the starbucks @ jurong point never fail me with the hojicha i want and also thank god that hojicha was added into the starbuck's menu after the promotion! Starbucks is also a great place with the right atmosphere to catch up with your friends and destress at the same time! smile
On top of that, starbucks recycling concepts which save a lot of 5 room flat should be shared and widely broadcast.

Ice cream Smile Apr 16, 2013

So tired after work! Try my favourite childhood raspberry ice cream at Malaysia Boleh @ $1. Many places had increase their price to $1.20 which claim that they serve a bigger portion that those $1 ice cream. But i still prefer the $1 as ice cream was to satisfy my cravings not to keep me full and the smaller the portion the less sinful i feel! tongue There is also a variety of flavour offers by the stall and is the uncle is friendly too! ^^ worth to give a try!

What the fudge?! Smile Apr 16, 2013

Categories : Café | Ice Cream and Gelato

Tom palette was Singapore's creation ice cream that had the same standard as many branded ice cream, yet it is cheap! Well, the staff was very friendly ( i forget to ask for his name, but he was a malay), I had requested to tried all the flavours and he had introduced me one by one with patient. *GOOD SERVICE* (My cheapo friend was telling me to try all the flavours and run away, haha.) So in the end, order what the fudge and goes with chocolate sorbet which is recommended by the staff. The appearance doesn't look attractive but the taste was FANTASTIC! I love the table there it was full of pictures are many feel so home-like and heart warming. *thumb up*
PS: there is 10% discount for poly student!

The creation of demon Smile Apr 16, 2013
Categories : Bakery | Kids-Friendly

This is the creation of demon!!! I feel so sinful every time after eating! During my O'level days, I was a great fan of chewy junior(as there was an outlet located near my house). It becomes my breakfast, after lunch dessert and supper daily and the consequences was that i gained 8kg after 3 months! But i can't denied the fact that it was tasty especially when the cream oozed out from of the puff. One is never enough to satisfy my cravings and they spoiled me with so many choices from sweet to savory, from the original size to the cute little mini chewy junior puff! I was so addicted to it. One of the sale gimmick they used is" the more you buy, the more you will save", and so the more i will eat.
However, after the gain of 8kg, i stopped eating chewy junior (maybe that is one of the reason that the outlet near my house(JP) was closed down, LOL).
Yesterday, while on my home after dinner, i passed by chewy junior and they are having sales (fyi, it is recommended to buy chewy junior around 9pm because they are about to close their shop and they will start having offers), so i bought 6 chewy junior puffs home and that is (used to be) one of my favourite (on the pics )! After so many years, i still taste great and with even more variety! For those who are on diet, please do not try this!

PS: Last thing to add on, i had managed to get rid of 8kg and now i am slimmer than before! A tip to share, eat less in a meal but many meals a day so that cell in your body are also working and the food will not be "transform" into fat!

Ajisen Ramen at JP Smile Apr 13, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen | Kids-Friendly

OMG, the portion was damn huge. (LOOK AT THE PIC) at the price $8.90 this is really worth! The taste of their hot plate chicken was wonderful. The only thing that i didn't try was the vegetable. It was not appealing to me. The service was great. It was indicated on the menu that the serving time was 15 to 20 minutes, however, i was been served with 10minutes and the awesome thing was the resturant was full of customers and they managed to serve this dish so fast! There is one thing for sure is that I will try again definitely. lol
