Waffles  Smile Dec 20, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Western

This is one of the best waffles you can find in NTU. They will only make the waffles after you ordered, hence, it is served hit. However, you will have to wait for 3 minutes for the waffles to be ready (according to the store assistant). I ordered their ice cream waffle, which i am allow to choose 3 ice cream flavours out of the 6. so i choose vanilla, cookies and cream and strawberry. There is nothing special about the ice cream but what make it nice is their waffles. It was crispy on the outside but soft in the inner.

Breakfast  Smile Dec 18, 2013

Categories : Food Court

I always like to have breakfast with my loved ones during weekend morning. But during the weekend, my whole family will sleep as much as they can as they said this is called "recharging battery" after five continuous working days!

I don't know how they made it but my body clock will just wake me up automatically, so I decided to walk to my nearest coffee shop to have my breakfast alone. an act of loner! sad So i went to pioneer mall and ordered their breakfast set A which comes with toast, 2 eggs and a cup of tea. I like their tea a lot, is so think and smell so nice; another Singaporean way of saying: gao gao one. The egg was just right, around 70% cooked. lastly, the toast; thick kaya and butter spread on it which make it prefect to start my day. What is even more prefect is that it costs only $2 which many can afford.

Ayam Penyet Smile Dec 18, 2013

Categories : Malay | Halal | Rice

Finally after the long wait canteen 2 was opened. I was waiting for this store to open for so long. It was recommended by some campus food variety show which i can't remember. you can actually requested to change your rice to brown rice with additional of 30 cents which is I did; Healthier choice. I ordered the dory fish set as I prefer fish over chicken a lot more and it was so nice. the fish was so crispy on the outer and soft in the inner. You will have to wait awhile if you are not ordering ayam penyet cause the kitchen will make it specially for you. Hence, the food was also served hot! The curry on the rice was slightly more spicy than I expected it to be! I actually had difficult to eat without tearing.

Indonesian pangpang  Smile Dec 18, 2013

My very first try at Indonesian pang pang after so long that at NTU. A lot of my friends told me is good. The rice was slightly too hard and dry but the chicken was really nice; soft and tender and goes well with their teriyakka sauce. I like their vegetables too; many find it too hard to chew on, but i prefer to have crunchy vegetable. It costs me 4.50 for this meal.

Executive cafe  OK Dec 18, 2013

This is actually tomato duck which is I don't know why I got so many like on Instagram, because i don't think it looks appealing to me. On the other hand, it didn't taste really nice. The duck meat does not go well with the tomato sauce and the tomato sauce taste so weird. It is not the normal brand that my parents bought, so I didn't really like it. sad It come with a bowl of rice and cost $6.80 in total. It slightly expensive in ntu but once you think that you didn't have to queue for food, it is quite worth that price.
