After dinner with my boyfriend and his family, we decided to have dessert because I was craving for something sweet. So we head off to our standard place, ji de chi. I would try different things on my every visit.
Durian

Durian

Durian in Pomolo Sago.

My boyfriend order this, and I was like, WHAT?
Personally, I have never never like durian because I feel that, there is a very strong pungent smell and it taste weird. My boyfriend tried to feed me with durian, he will never fail to fail his attempt.
Hot Beancurd

Hot Beancurd

Hot Beancurd

My boyfriend's mom order this. My boyfriend and I will always get cold beancurd however his mom would prefer hot beancurd and I always fail to find that for her because I know one stall at the east side sell real good beancurd but however is far. His mom really enjoy this beancurd she had at ji de chi and that's her standard order whenever we head to ji de chi.
Japanese Steam Moo Milk

My boyfriend cousin order this and it really taste good. It's cold and thick; you really would be able to taste the thickness of the milk.

I did not try this because everyone on table said it taste awful so I dint want to try too. It's a freebie so dont expect much.
Chocolate Shaved Ice

Chocolate Shaved Ice

Chocolate shave ice.
I shared this with my boyfriend sister. I think it's good enough for 2 pax portion because the serviing is pretty huge.

It's pretty one of the best next to the steam milk. I have tried almost every shave ice they have there. Probably this would rank second because the matcha shaved ice taste really good.

hot hashima is also ordered by my boyfriend. It's one of the best for hot dessert.
It taste sweet and thick.

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Dim Sum

My friends and I was at Haibin (Jurong Bird Park) having a prawning session and about 3plus we left the place and was deciding where to have breakfast. My boyfriend suggested to have breakfast at 126 wen dou sek. It was really a good breakfast to start, usually I would head to another dim sum restaurant at geylang too but I'm open for new choice. So we went ahead. It was pretty full house over there however, we managed to get a table in like 10 minutes. We order just 6 dishes but we order 2 sets. The unique thing about the sugarcane, it's placed in a Tupperware. The porridge is a little tasteless and the century egg was hard. However, the custard bun was really good, thick and sweet. Totally melt me deep inside. The hakau can be better because the wrapping is easily tear and the prawn a little hard bu the combination was okay. The chee cheong fun was the best, awesome. It taste sweet and salty at the same time however, the portion was small so we ordered 2. the prawns were sweet. If I'm not wrong, their dimsum is cook on hand and serve straight. Good service. Overall, I feel that it's not bad. Worth trying and the wt tissue is chargeable at 20 cent per piece. Do check your bill before paying, my total bill was $37.40.

On the night when my boyfriend and I was stay at Traders' hotel, we wanted to take a break from bustling Singapore. I wanted to chill over at Starbucks with a story book and coffee. smile So my boyfriend and I went over to Tanglin Mall. It was really a chill place whereby I can read, have a chat with my boyfriend and of course, chill. So we order whatever we wanted however, it was my first time trying Green tea Frape, personally I love green tea so I wanted to tried. It wasn't a bad choice, it taste a little sweet and bitter at the same time it's chill. The mocha chiffon was a bad choice. sad I regretted ordering that because the chiffon was really thick and when it's placed into your mouth, you will feel dry. New york Cheese cake was my all time favorite as it's one of the best new york cheese cake I ever ate. tongue

My boss treated my colleagues and I to Lim Seng Lee Duck rice. A very family style kind of coffee shop. It wasn't my first time trying out. A few times, I went with my friends, it was a pretty good food at a good price. Only once, I went there feeling very hungry yet the place was full house. I waited about 30 mins before I could get a seat however, it's worth waiting. Though it was pack to office but it was still piping hot and nice. With the gravy given, mixed with the rice, it's heaven. Once I tried their prawns, eggs and kangkong, very awesome. You should try it out one day. The boss of the duck rice stall will be doing his last business on 22nd June 2013.

The rice was really fragrance and the grain was not sticky. Taste like authentic nasi lemak. The dishes was serve piping hot and the rice too. It was very cheap, having a sausage, egg, luncheon meat with ikan billies it's only $2.50. And it is really tough to find cheap food near raffles place. I feel that overall was really good and up to standard, will pop by again when there are chances to do so.
