At black ball there are many interesting items on the menu that i want to try.I had this the cranberry crushed ice with milk ($4.50). The dessert come with Nata De coco, red bean and tapioca pearls. The crushed ice is drizzled with cranberry sauce and milk.

For a sweet tooth like myself, you will definitely enjoy this dessert because of the overdose cranberry syrup, it is quite sweet.

QQ noodles Smile Jul 24, 2013

Went to Marina Square for dinner and saw a queue outside the Lam's kitchen. Decided to join the queue as i craved for noodles.

The standard of this bowl of noodles ($4.50) come with ingredients like pork lards, fried fish skin, slices of pork, minced meat, 2 fried fishballs. The noodles is QQ and firm which is the kind that I prefers. Their soya sauce with chilli sauce is very tasty and spicy and it goes very well with the noodles.

Hot pot Smile Jul 24, 2013

This set of standard hotpot($4.50) come with a choice of either rice or dry handmade noodles. The hotpot contains ingredients like chicken, egg, crabstick, mushroom and lots of cabbage which is a quite a balance meal together with the dry handmade noodles.

I especially like the dry handmade noodles because the noodle taste similar to the Chinese 炸酱面.The sauce for the noodles is on the mild sweet and sour (as the stall helper went easy with the black vinegar).

Pad Thai Noodle salad Smile Jul 23, 2013

The Pad Thai Noodle Salad ($8.50) is one of the fusion food from Paris Baguette. It comes with shrimps, shredded roasted chicken, rice noodles, diced yellow and red pepper, lettuces, wild rockets and grounded roasted peanuts.

The sauce provided taste sweet and tangy but is more to the sweet side. The roasted peanut add on the crunchiness and fragrant to this salad. The price is really worth it as I can have seafood, chicken meat and lots of vegetable at the same time. All ingredients are fresh and this salad is refreshing as they serve chill too.

Reasonable price Japanese donburi Smile Jul 23, 2013

The Ginza Bairin is a good place for restaurant food that is selling at reasonable nett price of no service charge. I ordered a Pork Katsu Donburi($12.90) for the take away. For the take away, the miso soup will not be given.

The fried pork katsu is soaked in a brown sauce and topped with a runny egg.The pork katsu is tender and the breadcrumbs coated on the outside is fluffy as it absorbed the brown sauce. The amount of rice given is sufficient and this make a hearty dinner meal.
